We came based on a recommendation from our hotel.
The place looked nice, the menu was only in Italian, and the waitress spoke very poor English. A dish we didn’t order arrived, and we thought she had made a mistake.
We decided to let it go and eat the dish that came instead of the one we had ordered.
Later, she arrived with the dish we had ordered. We explained what had happened, and she left the second dish with us, saying that the one we hadn’t ordered would be on the house.
Most of the food was nice.
However, when it came time to pay, the owner said that since we had eaten everything, we had to pay for everything — and that the waitress had made a mistake in what she told us.
01/06/2025: We went to the Restaurant yesterday the First Time and really really enjoyed it. They recommended is a very nice Local wine and the Food was Great. Happy to Return!

25/03/2025: Small and pleasant place where you can find the classic Genoese focaccia by the slice.
It is also possible to try other types of products such as pizza by the slice with different fillings but for me, the best product is the schiacciata... fragrant and crunchy!
If desired, they prepare round pizzas to take away or to eat in the restaurant or cold dishes which are nice and plentiful.
The service slows down considerably when there is a boom in the lunch break and you have to pay when ordering.

02/06/2025: I stopped with my husband for a coffee, and I asked if I could use the bathroom, in a very rude way, the lady told me that the floor was wet, not giving me the possibility of access. Very rude and rude person. Some people before opening a business, should take a course in good manners.

05/04/2025: Si spende il giusto per ciò che si mangia ma vorrei segnalare il comportamento estremamente sgarbato e fuori dalle righe del proprietario. Ha trattato tutta la clientela presente come bambini mentalmente sotto sviluppati. Fingeva cordialità dietro a battute neanche divertenti. Il mio compare alla cassa pagando ha avvicinato la carta prima che premesse il tasto di avvio e ci ha tirato su una filippica, cercando di insegnarci la vita (spoiler, posso insegnarti io a cucinare degli gnocchi non crudi se vuoi). Sono entrati due clienti stranieri che non trovando il proprietario si stavano accomodando ad un tavolo e sono stati presi da parte da quest’ultimo che li ha ripresi davanti a tutto il locale manco gli avessero dato fuoco alle tende. Una signora straniera cercava di capire la differenza tra spezzatino con polenta e polenta concia e l’ha tirata scema parlandole come io parlerei al mio cane (anzi forse peggio). Mai più. E sconsiglio vivamente anche a chi legge.
Caro proprietario, se stai leggendo, Checco Zalone ha pubblicato molti video di cabaret, nel caso volessi esercitarti. Consigliata anche una camomilla.

26/04/2025: Pizza molle, cornicione crudo, cibo insapore, sproporzionato, buttato lì nel piatto, cozze che sapevano solo di aglio, hamburger duro malservito. Niente a che vedere con Napoli, deludente.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante stellato dove torniamo sempre volentieri: ogni volta ci sorprende, incanta e soddisfa fino all’ultimo piatto. Contrariamente a quanto si pensa, non si esce affamati, ma appagati nel corpo e nella mente. Un’esperienza gastronomica completa, da provare e riprovare!
21/04/2025: We were impressed by the Vecchio Ristoro in Aosta. The 5-course menu was sensational, every single course was a culinary masterpiece. Excellent quality ingredients provided one culinary delight after another through excellent craftsmanship and creativity. The risotto was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever tried.
The fantastic kitchen performance was perfectly complemented by the professional, attentive and courteous service.
The elegant ambience of the former mill was very appealing, but the only criticism of our lunch was the room temperature. It was far too cold and we were freezing after a short time.
Apart from that, the restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation. For us it is one of the very best 1 star restaurants we have visited in Italy so far and worth every penny.

Camera e bagno puliti a stile di una volta con balconcino e con spettacolare vista.
Cena favolosa con bis se volevi.. tutto apprezzato.

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class.
We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves.
The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.
