23/02/2026: We stayed here during the Olympic Games. This family-run hotel offers very friendly service, delicious food, and a great spa area with views of a lake and the Kronplatz mountain. The rooms are clean but could use some updating, especially the bed and bathtub (box spring beds and walk-in showers are standard these days). Therefore, we're giving the rooms fewer stars.
19/02/2026: A very nice, family-run hotel. The service here is outstanding.
During the Olympic Games, we always had to start at 7:00 a.m.
Breakfast was always served an extra 1.5 hours earlier.
The restaurant is also excellent.
The fitness center, spa, sauna, gym, and swimming pool facilities are fantastic.
Many 5-star hotels would envy such facilities.
All the facilities and rooms are very well-maintained and clean.
The view across the lake to Bruneck is breathtaking.

30/12/2025: The hotel is very old, and all rooms need renovation, especially the bathrooms.
The à la carte menu is very expensive and not suitable for a family, and there are no common areas.
18/09/2025: I had asked to postpone the date and issue a voucher since I had serious family issues that prevented me from departing on the scheduled date, but the hotel, justifying itself by citing Booking.com policies, showed little willingness and refused to listen to reason. I believe a little empathy and respect for customers is essential in this type of business.

02/01/2025: Cibo Buonissimo, panorama incredibile con apposita panchina, servizio cortese, raggiungibile con un ora di strada a piedi a partire da monguelfo tesido.
31/08/2024: In questo soggiorno in Alta Pusteria di due settimane, tre sere sono state trascorse in questo rifugio a mezza costa sopra Monguelfo. Tutto assolutamente perfetto (prenotazione rispettata, accoglienza gentilissima dalla proprietaria, rigorosamente n costume). Rosticciata senza carne, ma con patate e funghi 🍄 gustosa, bistecca pizzaiola con patate 🥔 arrosto e fritte (carne ottima), la sera prima bistecca di maiale 🐷, sottile, gustosa, piatti di funghi 🍄 (finferli e porcini), salsiccia, polenta, uova con lo speck, goulasch. Un menù ricchissimo e completo ( solo da provare). 🥗 Insalata di crauti favolosa. Grappa al fieno, alla genziana, limoncello . Grazie, una tradizione fantastica
