24/05/2025: We had dinner there on Wednesday for our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience for us. We were personally greeted and escorted to our table. The menu was amazing. The service was very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the evening and will definitely return. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

16/05/2025: Very nice place, nothing to say, but honestly the food was a disappointment. Overcooked meat and the grilled shank was even dry ...
Side dishes and desserts were normal.
We were in the place for lunch, there weren't many people so I don't find any extenuating circumstances.
15/05/2025: Ugh, the interior is overwhelming, the service is unengaged. Are the pretzels thawed?

27/04/2025: I have been visiting this restaurant for many years as I often walk the path to Vellau. Unfortunately, in recent years I have observed that prices have risen disproportionately while portions have become increasingly smaller. The view is still spectacular, the service is very nice, especially the young waiter is very professional. The quality of the food is very good. But it's still a mountain inn, not a gourmet restaurant, it would be nice if you could still afford to eat there.

11/05/2025: I recently had dinner with my family at the Bruthendler dinner. The food was very tasty and the portions are very generous. The staff is also very friendly. As a beer lover, I was also able to try different types of beer. We will certainly stop by again.

13/05/2025: I had a Pizza Della Casa. I was able to order an extra topping without any problems. The pizza was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant. However, during seasonal weddings, it could get a bit noisy, as the restaurant was very large and relatively thinly soundproof.

03/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante birreria con personale gentilissimo, spazi adatti ai bambini (bagni dotati di fasciatoio enorme e wc e lavandino per bimbi, seggioloni, set per disegnare in attesa del pasto. Ottimi piatti a prezzi nella norma e ovviamente birre per ogni gusto. Vicino anche lo shop per acquistare prodotti Forst.
21/04/2025: Pietanze buone, locale tenuto bene, servizio non all'altezza del posto: il cameriere un po' inesperto (si è leggermente perso il nostro ordine) e cameriera sfacciata nei modi (ci ha lanciato le torte sul tavolo). Abbiamo richiesto lo scontrino ed il cameriere voleva sapere se lo volessimo sul serio perché non lo trovava piu; alla fine ce l'hanno fatto nuovo falsificando le pietanze prese.

11/05/2025: Il ristorante è bello e si trova in una bella località, offre una buona scelta di pietanze di buona qualità ma il servizio non è all’altezza, ci hanno dato il tavolo sbagliato, per poi spostarci, sono molto lenti, abbiamo aspettato più di un’ora per ricevere i piatti e più di 3/4 d’ora per il pane (che abbiamo dovuto chiedere…)

23/04/2025: 0,40 € für ein Briefchen Ketchup! In der Speisekarte wird dies korrekterweise angeführt und das heißt, als Gast bin ich damit einverstanden. Ich persönlich finde allerdings Ketchup zu berechnen erbärmlich, zumal ich es "ba ins in Südtirol" als guten Service am Gast empfinde. Zu Pommes gehört nun mal Ketchup dazu. Eigentlich müsste man ja dann auch für Essig/Öl zum Salat oder Parmesan zur Pasta extra bezahlen. Aber na gut, das kann jeder sehen wie er will. Aber automatisch bei der Bestellung 2 x Ketchup einzugeben und diese dann auch noch zu kassieren obwohl man nur 1x gebraucht hat finde ich frech. Nachdem ich den Chef darauf hingewiesen habe als Antwort bekommen habe, dass sie das nicht kontrollieren können finde ich noch frecher. Ich bezahle ja auch nicht 2 Bier und habe nur 1 Bier bestellt und getrunken. Ich weiß, dass ich hier über 0,80 € schreibe, aber als Gast fühlt man sich abgezockt.... und richtigerweise wurde ich das auch.

20/06/2024: Eine längere Beurteilung ist mit ein Bedürfnis.
Wir kamen um 1800 Uhr, wohl wissend, dass in Sternerestaurants viele Gänge serviert werden. Mit den üblichen Amuse gueule, über das köstliche frische Brot mit 6erlei Butter, Pesto Variationen kamen wir dann zum den Gängen. Wir wählten 4 Gänge. Mit Davor und Danach kommt man auf gefühlt 6-7.
Zunächst zum Essen…. Köstlichst.. Fein.. Menge mehr als ausreichend… Die Wachtel Präsentation äußerst gelungen. Die Trüffel feinst gehobelt auf einem Keks als Untergrund. Die Sauce dazu…ein Gedicht. Auch der Nachtisch konnte sehr überzeugen, sind wir nicht so die „ Süßen“.
Besonders lobenswert ist ebenfalls der Service. Herr Benjamin bedient mit äußerst geschultem Blick und Aufmerksamkeit, bei gleichzeitigem unaufdringlichen höflichsten Umgang mit dem Gast. Im Team wird serviert und kurz und charmant ( durch Herrn Alessandro) die Speisen erklärt. Dezente Hintergrundmusik, angenehm.
Wir sind wirklich viel herumgekommen und haben auf der ganzen Welt im Sternebereich gespeist. Dieses Restaurant verdient wirklich Aufmerksamkeit, denn das Zusammenspiel aus exzellentem Service, noch richtig gedeckten Tischen und einer wunderbaren Küche ist ein Seltenheit geworden. Besonders in den Großstädten erleben wir eine neue Generation an Restaurants. Keine Tischdecken, Besteck soll behalten werden über den Abend , Zwangs Duzen als vermeintliches „ Wir Gefühl“ und diese grauenvolle Zwangsbeschallung, deren Geschmack der Gastgeber bestimmt, was verzeihbar wäre, wenn die Lautstärke dezent wäre.
Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

23/04/2024: Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste beim Schlosswirt. Seit Corona sind die Preise gestiegen und es wird weniger geboten. Sehr schade. Wir waren mehrmals sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war gut. Ein Amuse Bouche mehr würde uns in Zukunft freuen. Wie vor Corona... wenn schon teurer, dann muss auch mehr geboten werden nicht offensichtlich weniger...
