12/01/2025: A magical historical place with a very nice boss and employees. Service and food excellent and certainly at star level. Went there at lunchtime with 3 kids which wasn't a problem at all. Highly recommended, would love to come back!!!

The Blaue Traube impresses with a perfect mix of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine and creative accents in a relaxed, cool atmosphere. Every dish impresses with its sophistication and attention to detail. The young team is professional, extremely friendly and warm. Feels like coming home!
The wine list offers an impressive selection and the team has perfectly matched the wine pairing to the dishes.
The boss Chrsioph Huber is an extremely charming and professional host.
In my opinion the BEST restaurant in and around Meran!

15/02/2025: A solid and reference point! Good food .. fast service and it's very nice! I've already been here several times and it offers typical dishes of the Austrian and Bolzano tradition and they are abundant and good!
11/02/2025: We stopped because we were passing through on our way home from a weekend in Val Senales.
As soon as we entered, the waiters greeted us immediately even without a reservation (the place is big). The location is very particular, characteristic. The service was quick but kind. 2 minutes after ordering, the food arrived (anxiety), so much so that we had doubts about the freshness and quality of the dishes. But ok. The meat of the goulash was soft, good even though the sauce was definitely too much. Sufficient dumplings, but in line with what you can expect from a place like this. Although it is commercial, I found the prices different and do not reflect the food.

26/12/2024: Il ristorante si presenta completamente rinnovato sposando uno stile generico e ordinato che rimpiange l'autenticità del maso vecchio. Ingresso moderno corridoio ben fatto. Sala nuova arredata male con quadri buttati qua e là a caso, divani in simil pelle stile Motel ... ragazze al servizio efficienti e simpatiche, la signora bionda riccia scorbutica. Da non confondere con l'altra molto simpatica. Il cibo delude.

26/01/2025: Unfortunately, neither the goulash with dumplings nor the chanterelles with polenta were convincing.
It is edible, but lacks the typical flavor of Tyrolean and Italian cuisine.
The fact that you are actually only served by foreign staff and that only broken Italian is spoken in the kitchen doesn't necessarily come as a big surprise if you don't have a very good command of the regional cuisine.

(Unfortunately I forgot what the last experience was like. The memory came back immediately!)
The gamberetti and vegetables were terribly poor quality so I returned it completely. The vegetables are frozen, mushy and watery, the Gamberetti, floury inside, dry. Everything smelled like bad frying oil and a commercial kitchen.
However, the waiter responsible for me was great, he advised me what I could eat. At least it was edible. (Grilled vegetables with fried egg) Thanks again to him.
19/01/2025: If you are looking for a cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, this pizzeria is the perfect place! The variety on the menu is impressive, with a wide choice of pizzas, traditional Italian dishes and other culinary delights.
The staff is very kind and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. The service is quick and efficient, also ideal for those who have little time but want to enjoy a good meal.
The prices are more than fair for the quality offered and, no small feat, the restaurant has a large, very convenient car park. Furthermore, there is enough space to accommodate large groups,
perfect for parties or dinners with friends.
I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone who wants to spend an enjoyable evening with great Italian food!

04/01/2025: Posto unico.. Location splendida dove si respira l'essenza della FORST... Ogni angolo evoca la storia del birrificio.. Ampio parcheggio privato, cibo ottimo del luogo.. Prezzi bassi, personale gentile e attento... Servizio veloce... NB.. OCCORRE PRENOTARE..
03/01/2025: Seit Jahren kehren wir immer wieder hier ein. Dieses Jahr war es das letzte Mal. Das Bier war sehr gut. Das Essen war von sehr schlechter Qualität. Die Spare Rips waren extrem fett, die Pommes waren lauwarm und hart. Der Krautsalat war gut, aber die Portion war extrem klein, es waren nicht mehr als 3-4 Gabeln Salat. Als wir dem Service sagten, dass es uns nicht geschmeckt hat, sagte er nur, das sei schade. Keine Entschuldigung oder kein Schnaps oder Kaffee aufs Haus. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

02/11/2024: Il Ruster Keller è bello e accogliente e può accontentare tutti: il menù prevede un'ampia gamma di piatti -specialità tirolesi, pizze, wok di verdure, insalate,... - Noi abbiamo molto apprezzato la gelatina, la vellutata di zucca, i canederli (li avevo mangiati anche altrove ma non c'è confronto). E la gentilezza del personale.

20/06/2024: Eine längere Beurteilung ist mit ein Bedürfnis.
Wir kamen um 1800 Uhr, wohl wissend, dass in Sternerestaurants viele Gänge serviert werden. Mit den üblichen Amuse gueule, über das köstliche frische Brot mit 6erlei Butter, Pesto Variationen kamen wir dann zum den Gängen. Wir wählten 4 Gänge. Mit Davor und Danach kommt man auf gefühlt 6-7.
Zunächst zum Essen…. Köstlichst.. Fein.. Menge mehr als ausreichend… Die Wachtel Präsentation äußerst gelungen. Die Trüffel feinst gehobelt auf einem Keks als Untergrund. Die Sauce dazu…ein Gedicht. Auch der Nachtisch konnte sehr überzeugen, sind wir nicht so die „ Süßen“.
Besonders lobenswert ist ebenfalls der Service. Herr Benjamin bedient mit äußerst geschultem Blick und Aufmerksamkeit, bei gleichzeitigem unaufdringlichen höflichsten Umgang mit dem Gast. Im Team wird serviert und kurz und charmant ( durch Herrn Alessandro) die Speisen erklärt. Dezente Hintergrundmusik, angenehm.
Wir sind wirklich viel herumgekommen und haben auf der ganzen Welt im Sternebereich gespeist. Dieses Restaurant verdient wirklich Aufmerksamkeit, denn das Zusammenspiel aus exzellentem Service, noch richtig gedeckten Tischen und einer wunderbaren Küche ist ein Seltenheit geworden. Besonders in den Großstädten erleben wir eine neue Generation an Restaurants. Keine Tischdecken, Besteck soll behalten werden über den Abend , Zwangs Duzen als vermeintliches „ Wir Gefühl“ und diese grauenvolle Zwangsbeschallung, deren Geschmack der Gastgeber bestimmt, was verzeihbar wäre, wenn die Lautstärke dezent wäre.
Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

23/04/2024: Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste beim Schlosswirt. Seit Corona sind die Preise gestiegen und es wird weniger geboten. Sehr schade. Wir waren mehrmals sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war gut. Ein Amuse Bouche mehr würde uns in Zukunft freuen. Wie vor Corona... wenn schon teurer, dann muss auch mehr geboten werden nicht offensichtlich weniger...
