25/05/2025: Excellent quality that justifies the price, which is not excessive or prohibitive. Dishes that are not ordinary and well-prepared with an intriguing flavor and here I am referring to the steamed ravioli with pork filling. I will return

07/04/2025: Arrived around 6:30 for dinner with a friend and was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The service throughout the evening was very attentive, and I appreciated the nice selection of sparkling wines.
One of the highlights for me was the option to try all the appetizers—such a great idea! Out of the eight different options, the fried artichokes were my favorite.
For the mains, both the lamb steak and grilled chicken were beautifully cooked and presented. A very satisfying and well-rounded dining experience.

25/05/2025: Very quiet place, beautiful location inside. It was recommended to us by a receptionist where we were staying for her best Florentine steak in the country. Alas, as clearly stated in the menu: “Bistecca del focolare”, it was not the best “Florentine” I had ever eaten (it was more of a simple rib eye). Unfortunately, the whole fillet was missing... and it was very nervous. For the price, it is not worth it for me. Maybe we were just unlucky.
However, a point in favor for the pappardelle with ragù, the penne with ricotta cream, spinach and fresh black truffle. Also, compliments for the excellent staff, truly courteous.

Il menu è un toscano tradizionale, con punto di forza carne.

I celebrated my 30th birthday in this spectacular location. I had a lunch with dishes customized according to the different needs of my guests (coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans) of excellent quality.
Fabrizio and Federica were able to satisfy all my needs with availability and kindness. Above all, they allowed me to celebrate a birthday by welcoming me and all my guests as if we were at home.
Super recommended!!!

09/04/2025: this restaurant was recommended to us by our airbnb host, and we’re very glad we went! the parking can be a little tricky but the lady working there graciously moved her car so we could park in front of the restaurant. the service was wonderful and she brought us aperitivo on the house! the food was very good and the desserts were amazing. after dinner she even brought us limoncello without us asking. it was very quiet in the restaurant which was unfortunate as it was very good, but it’s probably busier in the summer. the prices were very reasonable as well. if you find yourself in montespertoli or area i suggest you choose this restaurant for your dinner :)

05/02/2025: A bit of an old-style tavern restaurant with a really large playground for children.. several tables on the first floor like the kitchen but I didn't go up and I don't know if there are other tables.. a gazebo outside for the summer parking space in the square. There were two of us, we took two slices of angus with porcini mushrooms... we waited about 30 minutes. On the ground floor there were only two other couples... then one dish arrived at a time of which one cut was well cooked (see photo of the difference in cooking) we had asked for them rare... half a red wine, a water, 2 grappas, an amaro del capo and a correct amount. 60 euros.. shame about cooking one course.. because the price and food is not bad.. they accept cards.
