01/08/2024: It was really tasty again, we ate here several times last year. And last night we had the "TAGLIATA DI POLLO" twice and the "TAGLIATA HYBLEA" once. The “Patate Bastarde” potato wedges with Ragusano cream are highly recommended. Prices are also good and the Coperto is not excessive, something we have already experienced elsewhere this year. Keep it up and my wife will come for the pistachio cheesecake 😉

24/08/2024: What can I say, we stayed in Scicli for 2 weeks and went practically every day! We tried to taste a bit of everything and we found everything excellent, delicious and super kindness on their part, highly recommended! The cream they make is really crazy! 🤤 110 and praise!!!

20/08/2024: Simply the best pastry shop in the country, from cakes to Turk's heads, I recommend trying the truly delicious Nutella and ricotta or Nutella and mascarpone cake

20/08/2024: We tried the takeaway pizza for a family dinner during our summer holidays, appreciating the quality. At first impression it seemed like a somewhat secluded place and not particularly attractive but speaking with the owner and seeing the team of pizza chefs at work immediately gave the impression of a very popular and appreciated place. The courteous and pleasant staff enlivened the wait by telling the history of the pizzeria and the origins of bakers. The restaurant also has a room for on-site consumption which however I was not able to see.

19/08/2024: We had very high expectations as we made a careful choice before choosing this place. We wanted to try the typical street food for dinner, which we weren't able to do since everything was already finished at 8.30pm and we announced that we wouldn't find anything else. We opted for some arancine and some rotisserie pieces which did not respect the indicated ingredients in the slightest, alas. Furthermore, it would be advisable to follow the present "queue"; would help you with all orders. The owner was not very nice towards us only because we highlighted the "queue skipper" before our eyes, receiving a response like: "You have to deal with the queue, they are girls and they go first". And I'm a girl, at this point, he had to respect this "law" with me too. Accuracy towards the customer must never be forgotten!

29/03/2024: Sono stata in questo ristorante diverse volte, e per me era il top! Purtroppo l'ultima volta sono rimasta delusa. Ho preso una grigliata di pesce, arrivata dopo quasi un'ora d'attesa e assolutamente mediocre. Pesce spada colloso, totano crudo...insomma, non ci siamo proprio. Peccato veramente

19/08/2024: Finally! 2 years have passed, it was 2022, and on a rainy summer afternoon in Dubrovnik (!) I found the strength to write this well-deserved review: we had lunch with this gentleman on an afternoon of silence and bright sunshine like only in Scicli in August: aubergine parmigiana, lasagna, perhaps something else that we don't remember... but everything was exquisitely good. The taste of the meat in the huge portions of pasta was that of a butcher's shop with a long tradition behind it. The shy and very kind owner made us pay even less than we had to and even offered us an extra portion to taste. Imagine a man who has the experience of years and years of work written in his hands: imagine how well he knows how to make food. I am convinced that in Scicli it is impossible to eat better than in its meat center rotisserie. Two years later I thank him: I was in one of my short-tempered moments, I tasted the first bite of parmigiana while grunting... and it changed my mood, bringing me back to pure Sicilian happiness. 09/07/2024: Very good and abundant sandwiches, lasagna, arancini and Sicilian specialties! Giovanni is very kind and friendly, moderate prices and homemade flavours! Definitely worth trying!

30/08/2024: Dreadful. The waiter tried to overcharge me by 10 euros. Parmigiana was not heated properly - fridge cold at the bottom & warm on top. Green salad at 3.5 euros was a small bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce, with olive oil on the side. Poor quality, over-priced & they tried to rip me off. Avoid.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto di cenare con dei primi piatti che hanno soddisfatto a pieno le nostre aspettative. Location davvero carina che suggerisco IMHO!

17/06/2024: Visto passando per il centro di Scicli, ci ha attirato subito. Abbiamo preso granita ai gelsi e al mandarino. Sapore top!!

27/05/2024: Su consiglio di gente del posto ho avuto il piacere di assaporare uno squisito gelato prodotto con ottimi ingredienti della zona, avrò un motivo in più per tornare a visitare la cittadina di Scicli ed assaporare tutti i gusti offerti da questa eccellente gelateria.

03/05/2024: Pranzo super...come dice il titolo. Trattoria a ridosso del centro e assolutamente da provare. Portate abbondanti, pietanze a base di pesce freschissimo e simpatia del gestore. Accoglienza e disponibilità. Assolutamente consigliato.

29/04/2024: We spent two weeks in Modica and ate here several times. The food is fresh and delicious but the service is what sets it apart. They welcomed us each time as family, remembering us and always asking how we were. We were beyond pleased with every dish we ordered and the wine was delicious. Highly recommend!
