18/03/2025: Arrived in Brolo... while my Dudu was playing at Cis, I discovered this really interesting pastry/ice cream shop... I, an avid ice cream fan, couldn't help but try it and I went back for the next two days since we were there for the weekend... I opted for the gianduia and pistachio flavours... wonderful... very kind staff... the lady was uniquely helpful... I'll be back soon ❤️

20/04/2025: My father and I had Easter lunch at Da Carmelo today and it was AMAZING! Our 5 course tasting included an assortment of amuse bouche, a wonderful play on a 'fried egg' that was made entirely of seafood, delicately prepared sea scallop over almond cream with Korean-style vegetable, the most amazing tortellini with smoked mussels and bottarga di tonno, sous vide lamb with a Roman -style artichoke, and the most amazing ricotta dessert with caramelized apple and crumble. The chefs are a wonderful couple, trained in Michelin starred establishments ... and it shows. The plating, service and attention to detail were impeccable. The wine recommendation ... a Sicilian white to top everything off ... lovely. A beautiful meal, amici ... we must return. Grazie mille!
27/03/2025: Everything was delicious, each course had its own reason, the search for raw materials, the refinement of the presentation and the flavours; all together they made us experience beautiful sensations… at Carmelo it is a certainty where nothing is taken for granted. 18/05/2025: Ogni volta che vado a Palermo per lavoro piuttosto che fermarmi all'autogrill esco apposta a Brolo e mi fermo qui: bar, pasticceria e tavola calda davvero ottimi. Locale sempre pulito, è questa ultimamente è una cosa rara

03/06/2025: I rarely give negative reviews out of respect for the work of others, this time it is highly unlikely that I will refrain from commenting and reporting what happened. The owner (an apparently helpful person) at the end of the dinner presented a bill that was more expensive than the menu provided to customers, this "method" is objectively incorrect and unprofessional, I recommend staying away. I felt taken for a ride (to say the least). The bill presented varied by about 20 euros....

26/04/2025: Ho passato la Pasqua con i miei amici in questo locale suggerito da persone del luogo devo dire ottimo suggerimento abbiamo preso l'antipasto Ramon un'infinità di portate tutte buone in particolare il polpo 🐙...abbiamo fatto due assaggi di primo di cui il nero di seppia strepitoso...il personale molto gentile e attento...ci ritorneremo quanto prima per mangiare la pizza 🍕 che ne parlano tutti benissimo...grazie a tutto lo staff Ramon..

17/08/2024: Granita divina! Brioche ancora di più!
Già dall’anno scorso mi trovo a Brolo per lavoro in estate, anche quest’anno riconfermo la bontà assoluta delle granite di questo bar e delle loro brioche col tuppo servite calde. Le granite non hanno latte, e nemmeno le brioche, ottima cosa per chi come me è intollerante al lattosio. Personale cortese, locale pulito. Consiglio l’ accostamento fichi e fichi d’india!
09/08/2024: Vado in vacanza tra Brolo e Capo d’Orlando da sempre essendo originaria della zona. La granita e la brioches del bar centrale sono di una spanna sopra tutte le altre. Granita deliziosa sempre freschissima mai un pezzo ghiacciato dentro. La mia preferita è al caffè, ma ottime tutte. Brioches morbida spesso appena sfornata! Panna montata a mano buonissima
