Offers lunch menu with antipasti plate + either starter or main course (or both).
Great to find a good place that is open for lunch.
22/05/2025: We had an ideal Italian large, late lunch served by the loveliest people. We chose the pasta menu, so a plate of mixed appetisers came out first. Caponata, mushrooms, cauliflower battered, fried fennel etc. Then we chose a pasta, and they were both stand-out excellent. Homemade long macaroni in a beautiful tomato, aubergine and slow cooked pork sauce, and rigatoni in a creamy pistachio sauce with a little pancetta. The wonderful, smiley chef who came out to check on us didn't need to encourage us to clean the plates with the bread :)

29/04/2025: What a nice surprise this restaurant is! We wanted antipasti, unfortunately it turned out that not all of the à la carte dishes were available. So we ordered a “second course” which was delicious. But the real surprise was that the restaurant offered us two other dishes, offered as an apology for the menu's shortcomings, which were simply wonderful. Not only is the gesture very professional, but the quality of the dish has nothing to envy of certain gourmet restaurants. Congratulations to the entire team of this excellent establishment, go there with your eyes closed.

03/05/2025: Every time I've been in the area, I've eaten here and I've never been disappointed. There isn't a wide choice, but everything is cooked with care and is very good. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the staff very attentive and friendly.

09/05/2025: What a gem! The food is creative and well executed - tastes are extraordinary. Not your typical fare yet respective of the region and its products. The quality is excellent, service is great.
09/05/2025: Great place in the middle of nowhere, well worth the journey!!! Deserves a Michelin star ;-) The staff was very attentive, we got a welcome sparkling wine glass, the house wine (local red) was good too. All steaks we had were well prepared and excellent quality. Thanks a lot!!!

29/04/2025: Mother Santuzza!! I would have eaten it all! Variety, quality, special ingredients for the sandwiches. Then a lot of friendliness and availability, and an evocative environment. The only flaw is the steep staircase to access the table area.
17/04/2025: Evocative atmosphere in an ancient stately building with stone walls, soft lights and relaxing music. Warm welcome and friendly service. The starter was excellent: veal with tuna sauce with blackberry jam, surprising and well balanced. Then we ordered two second courses: the fillet with green pepper (impeccably cooked) and the larded pork fillet with apple cream, field vegetables and hazelnuts – a successful combination of flavours. Two local beers and full dinner for €67. Recommended for those looking for quality and an authentic atmosphere.

17/02/2025: .... it's always good, in fact excellent, to come back to those parts... the "da zino" restaurant is one of my oldest memories (my father used to take me to eat pizza)... But every time I return to this place it's always better (from the pizzeria to the restaurant)... A very warm welcome, truly beautiful friendliness and efficiency!!

13/10/2024: Enchanting place on the slopes of Etna in the Randazzo area. The estate is located in an early 1900s villa surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. We went to the Feudo Vagliasindi for an aperitif on the splendid terrace overlooking Etna and the sunset. Mrs. Flavia welcomed us with great cordiality and kindness, giving us valuable information on the wines produced by the estate and helping us in choosing the wine that we tasted as an aperitif accompanied by tasty local appetizers, including an exquisite EVO oil. The excellent welcome led us to stop for dinner too, with high quality typical local dishes. The first gem was the visit to the ancient and evocative winery made by one of the owners of the Feudo. Highly recommended!
28/09/2024: A little gem. Maintained historic building. Very pleasant setting, we are surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, with a view of Etna. Professional and warm welcome. A smile is required and sound advice is provided. Nice sized room, simple and efficient, cleaned carefully every day. Restaurant worth visiting. A generous and mastered local menu. The owner's wines to enjoy, as well as his olive oil. In short, great establishment for exploring around Etna.

09/05/2025: Come si suol dire : fatt'a numina e va corchiti..." È la terza volta che vengo qui negli ultimi 5 anni e la qualità e quantità del cibo sono andate a diminuire nel tempo. Soliti antipasti classici senza infamia e senza lode ma per giunta non ci sono neanche parmigiana e caponata (un must in Sicilia a mio avviso). Pasta di qualità molto scarsa, strapiena di panna e formaggio e porzioni ridotte da matrimonio. Nessuna possibilità di bis però a differenza di un matrimonio. Secondo: due fettine stra sottili di abbacchio (di buon sapore però) e 5cm quadrati di Agnello di cui il 60% è osso. Siamo in un agriturismo mica da uno Chef stellato! Io sono magrissimo ma menomale che ho mangiato degli avanzi degli altri... Menù bimbi con cotoletta pessima. Vino della casa ovviamente già aperto. Dolci accettabili. Buona la panna cotta. Il tutto a 40€ mica poco. Per il resto il parco è grande, ci sono giochi ed animali e la possibilità di fare un giro sul pony per i bimbi che quindi sicuramente si divertono
18/02/2025: siamo arrivati (eravamo in sette) ed abbiamo mangiato bene. Tre tipi diversi di dessert. Antipasti tanti. Fritturina non pesante. Il personale e' professionale nel senso che essi sono molto attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti

23/09/2024: Domrnica 22 settembre sono stata presso la casa merlino con un gruppo di 50 persone. Posto magico dove ritrovare se stessi..profumi nell'aria che sanno di buono..
Ottima degustazione degli olii seguiti dall'agronomo,
pranzo buonissimo con alimenti a km 0.
I proprietari fantastici, coccolano gli ospiti in ogni momento con il sorriso ed una grande professionalità.
Posto consigliatissimo
