Just one observation: I had the impression that the pasta waited a moment longer than it should have before being served (the temperature was at its limit).

09/12/2025: Luckily, we found this little restaurant; we ate wonderfully. The wild fennel pasta had a fragrance that filled the entire room. The meat was also delicious, perfectly cooked and tender, and the eggplant ravioli were also delicious. The owners were very kind and attentive. The place is small but welcoming. I recommend parking a little before reaching the restaurant square, as there's only room for 6-7 cars.

29/08/2025: Truly sensationally delicious ice cream (pistachio) and aranchini. I thought the reviews here (the best in Sicily) were exaggerated, but it might actually be true :) Definitely try it!
Update after 3 weeks traveling all over Sicily: These were truly the best ice cream in a brioche and the best aranchini!!!

19/10/2025: We stayed here when we visited the Gambino vineyard. It is nicely located only 10 min from the vineyard. The room is clean with a. Comfy bed. The host is really friendly and has lots of information on where to go in town.

27/04/2025: Situato a pochi chilometri dal centro, questa struttura è un sunto delle peculiarità del borgo. Bella location, l’ospitalità è di casa. Abbiamo cenato a base di pizza e il tutto è stato davvero eccellente. Nomi delle pizze ispirati ai nomi dei vitigni, sapori unici anche perché ingredienti di primo livello. Tutto perfetto. Da tornarci magari anche per dormire. Ad maiora.

27/04/2025: Per quanto si possa cercare un locale sulla base delle recensioni, il miglior feedback resta sempre quello dato dalla struttura in cui soggiorni (grazie Vincenzo). Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo piatti davvero ottimi, incluso un fuori menù al quale il personale si è fatto trovare pronto. Ottimi gli antipasti misti, un mixer di sapori del borgo fantastici. Grigliata mista e maccheroni della casa davvero ottimi. Complimenti e grazie per la disponibilità nell assecondare le nostre richieste. Consigliatissimo.
10/01/2025: Ottimo ristorante ubicato nel centro del paese, ottimi ed abbondanti tutte le portate, servizio gentilissimo, il rapporto qualità prezzo nella norma , non so 5 stelle perché i dessert non hanno soddisfatto le nostre aspettative e precisamente il parfait di mandorle e la cassata

09/06/2025: Classico posto con qualità veramente bassa e prezzi altissimi dove l’obiettivo è solo quello di “spennare” il cliente.
Spiace quando una realtà locale si trasforma in un luogo inavvicinabile. Probabilmente il format qualità bassa e prezzi così alti ha come target i turisti ignari di tutto. Sarebbe bene stare lontani da posti così. Da evitare!
05/06/2025: Service lackluster. The orange fennel salad had a green worm (Alive and still crawling) in it. Regret I did not take a photo. Told the uncaring female server who suggested it could have flown in (it is CRAWLING, 0.8cm at best and no way it can fly or carried by the wind). She shrugged. Zero apologies. Stay well clear of this place.

15/07/2025: We just came for a wine tasting. Tried 3 wines. The place is in the castle, a bit hidden without any kind of logos on the outside door. Around 12pm we were the ones at the winery.
The person who served us seemed that she didn’t want to stand up and serve us. Like most people here, couldn’t speak in english and just proceeded to talk in italian.
The wines were pretty good! We only received a small package of grissinis for 3 wines… the wines should soak up in something
We paid 10€ for a 3 glass wine tasting
