08/10/2025: Over the years, Croce Bianca has always been a popular trattoria for its excellent value, authentic cuisine, and varied menu. After about a year's absence, I decided to return, confident of the same pleasant experience as before. Unfortunately, I must say that the overall quality has declined, both in terms of the cuisine and the service management. For those, like me, who suffer from severe allergies and numerous food intolerances, the menu is now extremely limited. I chose a crepe with toma cheese and prosciutto: good flavor, but poor quantity. Two small crepes, finished in just a few bites, cannot be considered a main course, especially at a price of 10 euros. The wait times were also excessive at every stage. We waited almost twenty minutes for the crepes, and after finishing our dish, another fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to ask if we wanted coffee, despite having already tried to attract attention. Once we ordered, we waited another ten minutes before our food was served. The service was slow, uncoordinated, and far from the standards one would expect in a place of this type. The wait staff, while polite, displayed a lack of professionalism. The waitress, constantly apologizing, served a dirty cup of coffee, explaining it off as a problem with the coffee maker, when it would have been enough to discreetly replace it. Furthermore, while she addressed the gentlemen in the dining room with the formal "Lei," she addressed my daughter and me with the informal "tu." This attitude, while perhaps spontaneous, denotes a lack of attention: respect, in a professional context, also comes through in language. Finally, when it came time to get the bill, I had to wait about twelve minutes and present my card several times, as the waitress was having difficulty using the POS. Overall, a disappointing experience, made tiring by long waits and sloppy service, a far cry from the welcoming and genuine trattoria that once represented a benchmark for quality and warmth.

02/01/2026: The sign says "Caffè e Bottega," but perhaps it would be more appropriate to indicate the hours of service. I went with a friend to the place at 8:00 PM for a coffee and they refused us, as if we were in the center of Paris! The reason for the refusal was that the hours were no longer convenient.

12/10/2025: When you want to relax and savor the same old tastes and flavors, Osteria Santino is an excellent choice... the braised beef with polenta melted in your mouth, the apple pie was soft and delicious—well, nothing to complain about. I've found some complaints in other reviews; stay in the city because expecting to find everything you dream of in the mountains isn't for you here. Thanks to the lady who served us, she was very kind!
