27/07/2025: We stopped by this little restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised.
The welcome was warm and professional, with a customer service that was evident from the first moment.
The welcome entrée was very welcome. The appetizers—crispy octopus and culatta—were excellent, carefully prepared using quality ingredients.
The main courses, a beef fillet and a perch millefeuille, were both excellent: perfectly cooked and with well-balanced flavors.
The atmosphere is a bit dated, but extremely clean and tidy.
Compliments to the staff for their passion and professionalism.

The staff is kind and friendly. Good food!
The pumpkin and toma risotto is very tasty! I recommend it.

01/12/2025: Da Zia Gio': a charming family name and a warm, welcoming location in a charming hamlet of Cameri, in the Novara area. A delightful evening in the chilly late November weather. To warm us up, we were served: 1) a delicious platter (house specialty) for four with polenta, local gorgonzola, wild boar tapulon (a traditional dish from nearby Borgomanero), sausage, and mushrooms; 2) a Dolcetto di Ovada, fresh but already full of character. High quality, and very kind and attentive staff. I didn't take photos because the convivial atmosphere among friends and the excellent restaurant, in a province of substance and few frills, doesn't require one. The powerful mental images suffice.
Fairly priced. Worth revisiting...
