10/12/2025: A Timeless Gem in Barolo – Even Better Than I Remember I returned to Buon Padre in Vergne after first visiting in 1998 during a wine-tasting trip with friends to Viberti — and it was just as memorable as all those years ago. The restaurant remains a small, stylish, and truly classic place, with an atmosphere that reflects the very best of Piedmont. The wines from their own Viberti winery are of exceptional class — among the finest in the region — and pair beautifully with the meal. We enjoyed an evening of authentic, traditional Piemontese cuisine, each dish prepared with care and depth of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcomed — a level of hospitality that is hard to find. A wonderful experience in every way. A must-visit when in Barolo.

01/12/2025: We visited this place on the recommendation of hotel owner. It's a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Piemonte cuisine. White truffle dishes were so delicious, of course, but panna cotta—served with caramel sauce—was the most delicious we have ever had!
