09/09/2025: Beautiful refuge. Excellent as a base for beautiful walks/hikes in the valley. Delicious food, almost all home-made. Excellent management with young, fast service. A place to return to.

27/08/2025: This accommodation offers apartments and rooms. We had a very well-appointed duplex apartment. The view was splendid. Quiet. Excellent bed. Fully equipped kitchen. It's located in a perfectly renovated building in an ancient village. Possible excursions starting directly from the property. Friendly and responsive staff. The restaurant was also good, although we expected something more, but it was still decent. The road up is quite winding and has a few potholes.

Silence is the main ingredient, followed by the fantastic location overlooking the valleys, close to the Cyclamen Trail; a wonderful stopover, an exclusive stay.
The property is very well managed, both in terms of the rooms/apartments and the common areas, from the pool to the restaurant; this, in addition to the friendliness, helpfulness, and discretion of the entire staff.

Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Cavallo Bianco

22/11/2025: A restaurant we stumbled upon on the road during our trip: Cavallo Bianco is one of those mountain places where time has stood still, where you don't have to worry about the outdated decor or whether the food is served on classic, outdated white plates. The food was simple but good and plentiful: for €15, we ate two excellent traditional mountain appetizers, a plate of tagliatelle with ragù, and a braciola with baked potatoes. The owners are two elderly people who probably weren't expecting to see outsiders in the area on a cold, snowy autumn day... yet we were greeted with kindness and smiles, told family and local anecdotes, and the owner even helped me put on my coat, just as men used to do in times long forgotten. My husband told me this was our anniversary lunch (which is tomorrow), and I told him that a simple and authentic place like this will always be among my fondest memories.
07/10/2025: Authentic Italian food! You have a great view over the valley, really beautiful. It was a really nice lunch menu for only 15 euro. Also fine to have a vegetarian menu. It felt like a true Italian experience! We can really recommend it. We were doubting at first, but once inside we felt very welcome. Be sure to sit at the back to have the view.
