30/12/2025: The place is somewhat reminiscent of the Vulcano café at Un Posto al Sole, which certainly doesn't live up to the food and service standards. For starters, we had a tartare, excellent and generous even if lightly seasoned, and gorgonzola and walnut vol-au-vents, perhaps the least interesting of the selection. For starters, we had risotto and agnolotti. The agnolotti were well-made and seasoned without skimping on butter and sage, but the real surprise was the Barbera risotto, freshly prepared and flavored with braised beef stock or something similar (perhaps brown stock), perfectly cooked and exceptionally flavorful. It's worth a visit for this dish alone. The second course of the day was a strange choice: chicken curry. It must have been excellent, given the chef's skill, but honestly, I expected a more traditional dish. For dessert, we had delightful coconut and mascarpone balls.
