Good food, excellent wine selection.
07/03/2026: We ate here last week on our way South. We chose this place because of it's well cured cuisine. Very friendly professional staff. Tasty and well prepared local food. We went for the mixed antipasti in order to taste several preparations. Then we had the Milanese chop all accompanied with glasses of local wine. We will be back.

29/11/2025: At Primo Cocktail & Wine Bar in Saronno, we found a truly welcoming atmosphere: quiet music, soft lighting, generous appetizers, excellent dishes, and quality wines. At the end of the meal, a selection of mixed sweets was also very welcome. We'll definitely be back to try other wines.
27/09/2025: A truly elegant venue near the center of Saronno. From the outside it looks small, but it's actually quite spacious. The cocktails are very good. If you order a drink, they'll bring you snacks and candy. The owner, Andrea, is very friendly. At midnight, it was still packed, mostly young people, but not exclusively. Perfect for an aperitif, an evening with friends, or a special date. Recommended.

13/11/2025: The brioches were bland and tasteless, a complete disrespect for Sicilian pastry making. The experience was made worse by the staff, who were rude and arrogant. Trust those who are trustworthy: if you're looking for authenticity and courtesy, this isn't the place. Not recommended.

21/10/2025: Restaurant serving typical Milanese cuisine. Excellent dishes, courteous and highly knowledgeable staff, and the chef even gave me valuable tips for trying to "approach" him in my own homemade osso buco recipes... Top!

Remarkable quality and quantity.
We had the Milanese cutlet with potatoes and the braised beef with polenta, both truly excellent and delicious.

05/02/2026: I found it by chance, and the name piqued my curiosity. It's a small but very welcoming place. We had lunch for three of us. The first course was an amazing pumpkin and taleggio risotto, followed by desserts made especially by them (three very charming women). The prices were fair for the quality of the food.
I highly recommend it.

05/03/2026: I fully recommend this place. Not only are the rooms really nice (top modern), with great bathroom (jungle shower) and really good beds, but the restaurant is also very very nice. Popular too, not an hour after opening it was practically full. Ten minutes from the station, conveniently between Milan and the airport. Would certainly come again.

16/01/2026: If I were to give a 5 out of 5 rating only to Michelin-starred restaurants, I wouldn't be doing justice to a restaurant like this, where I found everything I'd always love to find. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were truly friendly (even nice), and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef and his charming wife, who 'fills the room.'
I happened upon it because I had lunch with a work friend who knew it, and I booked dinner directly for my dad's birthday, a foodie.

13/12/2025: A curious place; the dialect name would seem to imply traditional Lombard dishes, but the menu is essentially seafood. Very good dishes and generous portions. Prices are a bit high, but quality comes at a cost.

14/12/2025: Yes, I was really very disappointed. We ordered a calzone and the cooked food inside was not of good quality. The mozzarella remained in cubes and obviously did not melt because it had not received the correct heat. The dough was sufficient even if it was particularly wet.
10/11/2025: Welcoming place.
The appetizer is a bit pricey, and for three people, I expect a bit of a generous serving.
The paniscia is excellent.
The place is good for evenings with friends.

I had the swordfish with vegetables, and it was truly delicious, well-cooked, and flavorful. A much-appreciated detail: while you wait, they bring you small pieces of pizza and focaccia as an appetizer—a simple gesture, but certainly not a given. Overall, the food is good, and the service is pleasant.
