22/03/2025: When we point out to the lady that pieces of cork from the bottle we ordered are floating in our glasses, she replies that it's not much and you can drink it anyway! Now it's fine that it's a trattoria, but if I order a 30 euro bottle I would like it to be opened at the table and maybe to be able to taste it, and point out if something is wrong. After insisting she brings us a new (?) bottle, and puts it back already opened on the table, without pouring and without waiting for us to taste it. We point out, politely, that a bottle should be opened at the table, and in response she tells us "next time I'll remember you and open it for you at the table". Stuff to get up and leave. We tried not to ruin the evening, and we stayed calm and sat eating polenta with broscitti, I'd say a decent dish but there are dozens of better ones in these areas. To try to end the evening well I order a tiramisu, which unfortunately was inedible, hard as if it were defrosted and too sugary. At the end of the evening not even a hint of an apology from the owner. I don't know what kind of customers they are used to, but we have been treated better even in the meanest taverns in Rome, where maybe they swear at you but at least the food is superb and they know what service is.
