29/10/2024: You arrive at the tavern which overlooks the Ticino river by walking along the embankment and going down a small road. The location is really nice. We ate friselle and salad with buffalo mozzarella, pears and pistachios as an appetizer, then aubergine parmigiana and ribeye, and chocolate cake. All good. Low and honest prices. Very fast and courteous service.
23/10/2024: I stopped by while walking the via Francigena - I asked them if they were open and a lady said they were closing but I could get a drink - I thought that was very nice and ordered a coke to be quick and let them close - then an Italian man drove in - offered a menu immediately, tablecloth, meal the whole works! Very poor service and attitude do not stop here if you’re walking the via Francigena!
