I will definitely try it as a hotel sooner or later.
Friendly and precise service, it is certainly not suitable for a quick meal, but the taste is worth the wait.
Traditional Lombard/Como dishes that are truly good and have a decidedly authentic taste.
More than affordable bill.
Very nice location.
22/04/2025: Very simple Hotel, but still respecting local form and tradition. The rooms were generally clean, the furniture amd everything you interacted withwas impeccable and everything worked fine. Only the corners and hard to reach places were a bit dusty.
I would visit again.

29/05/2025: We were well received by the young waiter, however, another gentleman who seems to work there allowed himself to make comments to me in a language that neither we nor the waiter understood. A very inappropriate and disrespectful attitude that does not make us want to return, despite the pleasant setting.
26/05/2025: Unfortunately, I can't fully recommend this place.
After arriving, it turned out that 90% of the menu was not available and we had to order pinsa and a slice of margherita.
Despite the language barrier because the staff did not speak English at all, we managed to reach an understanding using a translator on the phone.
Pinsa and fries were very tasty, the pizza slices looked like regular ready-made products.
Despite this, the lady tried to accommodate us as best she could and was positive.
The views are stunning, the beautiful view of the lake and mountains makes you want to stay there longer!

29/09/2024: Das Restaurant liegt direkt am kleinen Dorfplatz und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über den See. Atemberaubend ist auch die Fahrt über die kleine Straße mit ihren vielen Serpentinen.
Die Speisekarte ist regional und saisonal. Alle Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet und schmecken sehr gut.
Die Wirtsleute sind ausgesprochen freundlich und herzlich und sind immer für ihre Gäste da.
Wir haben uns in dieser freundlichen Atmosphäre sehr wohl und gut umsorgt gefühlt.
Wer etwas ursprüngliches und besonderes abseits der Touristenorte sucht, sollt unbedingt hier einkehren.
23/08/2024: La disponibilità e la gentilezza dei gestori si toccano con mano già a partire dai primi contatti per la prenotazione (che é sempre consigliabile, visto che i coperti purtroppo sono limitati).
La location è veramente particolare: in questa piccola piazza di paese da cui si può ammirare una vista unica del Lario si crea un atmosfera tranquilla che mette subito a proprio agio.
La qualità del cibo è eccellente: noi ci siamo messi nelle mani dei cuochi per la scelta dei piatti e dei vini e le attese sono state ampiamente soddisfatte.
Su tutto, degni di particolare nota: la caponata, il risotto al taleggio e al timo, il coniglio all’ischitana e la cheesecake con le pesche di Volpedo. A prestissimo Locanda San Martino!
