26/10/2025: Back to this little restaurant, and once again, an experience to treasure!
This time on a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost fully booked, yet the service was impeccable, the atmosphere intimate and refined, and the food sublime.
We were delighted to discover new culinary offerings and appreciate the new accolades received by this young team of professionals led by Chef Alessio.
It's truly a pleasure to be pampered by this small but highly original restaurant on the outskirts of Rome.
Congratulations, indeed!
10/10/2025: I was in Valmontone for work,
I had lunch at Specus and immediately felt at home.
Alessio and Flavia welcomed me as if we'd always known each other.
The atmosphere was clean and quiet, and the cuisine was authentic and delicious.
It will be a destination for three lunches and dinners.
My compliments to Alessio and Flavia.

02/11/2025: I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review. I have to say this first, because it's a nice place where you feel comfortable, and the staff is truly very kind. The sandwiches used to be very good and unique, but now they're just not there. The burger was overcooked, the chicken breast tough and soaked in oil, and the bread was mediocre. Please, review the food; it's really a shame.

03/06/2025: Cibo ottimo, nella zona è il migliore senza dubbio. Sia prodotti da terra che di mare sono molto buoni. Prezzo ottimo sui 45 a testa prendendo antipasto , primo e vino.
02/06/2025: Resolvemos almoçar nesse restaurante quando estávamos em viagem de Roma à Sorrento e tivemos uma surpresa muito boa com a comida e atendimento. O local é muito agradável e a comida saborosa. Na hora que chegamos estava bem tranquilo e o atendimento foi rápido. Experimentamos uma entrada bem diferente, com camponata e umas espécies de saltados. Como prato principal eu comi polvo, que estava uma delícia. Recomendo bastante.

14/06/2025: The quality of the raw materials is in line with the prices, good.
The service is absolutely insufficient.
If there is a problem with a customer, you don't attack them verbally out loud but you try to mediate, because it can happen, as in this case, to have mistaken fireflies for lanterns.
But the very serious thing is that you have to be serious and not make fun of the customer.
When ordering the French fries, they were asked if they were frozen and the waitress not only replied "no, they are absolutely fresh" but added "they are our own production".
So, since it is almost impossible to find them fresh, we ordered double the amount we needed but when it was time for service, the potatoes arrived that were clearly frozen, and also of low quality, without any explanation or apology from the waitress.
Hygiene and respect for the customer are the basis on which to build a public structure and for this reason, even if it is certainly not important to you, this trick prevents you from seeing at least 15 people at your tables again, good luck.

28/10/2025: Great place to have a quick lunch. The menu is very varied and the food selection is good. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and quick. We had two "panzanella" pinse full of tuna, olives and fresh tomatoes with a delicate basil scent. The draft beer has an extraordinary taste and the tart was tasty. All very good!

18/06/2025: Not having a menu to look at says a lot. A 4 cheese + a capricciosa + 2 cans of coke for €25.00 seems excessive to me, not having a menu to look at as feedback. Pizza tastes are subjective and I say there are better around. Do I recommend it? No, avoid

19/10/2025: Two of us came in for different reasons, cappuccino and a solfogliatella, which turned out to be very good, aperitif served with chiacchiere (pizza dough with cherry tomatoes), friendly staff, total price 13 euros. We'll be back.
19/10/2025: Restaurant located in the Valmontone outlet, welcoming staff, excellent coffee. I was served at the counter by Eleonora and Cristina, who were very good, and Miss Maila, who was professional and passionate about her work.

22/07/2025: Extremely dirty place, overflowing garbage cans, empty bottles on the floor, green pool water🤮 the blonde girl on staff is incredibly rude, she even doubts whether you can pay the entrance fee or not, when they don't even leave a receipt, I'm sorry but in my opinion it's not a pleasant place to spend a day and they are not suited to be in contact with the public let alone managing a place like this. NEVER AGAIN!
14/07/2025: Lunch with a group of friends with a pre-arranged menu that was supposed to include: appetizer
A buffet with sandwiches, cold pasta, rice salad, cold cuts, fried meats, and assorted pinsa for the second course.
The appetizer arrived: 15 mini sandwiches (there were 26 of us) that looked like wet cardboard, cold pasta with pesto, I presume, that not everyone got, and a tasteless rice salad. There was no sign of the cold cuts or fried meats.
They brought a large pot of trofie with tomato sauce, zucchini, and eggplant, all tasteless and served individually with the plates in hand like a charwoman.
What struck me most were the drinks: beer was put in a carafe so as not to reveal that they were the plastic bottles from the discount store, and even the wine was from the discount store.
Last but not least, the goat droppings in the middle of the pool loungers...
You fooled us, this time you won't fool us again. Goodbye!

Grande disponibilità e professionalità dalla scelta di tutta l'organizzazione alla realizzazione della serata stessa. Una favola che ha superato di gran lunga tutte le nostre aspettative.

Sopra ogni aspettativa… woooow che magnifico lavoro e’ stato fatto ,Virginia con i suoi collaboratori e il suo staff hanno reso il nostro giorno indimenticabile…
Location magica perfetta curata in ogni piccolo dettaglio banchetto squisito tanti complimenti da tutti gli invitati… tempi perfetti… tutti gli invitati si sono sentiti a casa si sono divertiti e sono rimasti affascinanti dall atmosfera.
Io e mio marito consigliamo questa struttura ai futuri sposi che leggeranno questa recensione scritta con il cuore.
