The owners are friendly and helpful; since the dining room can accommodate a limited number of people, reservations are recommended. On Sundays, lunch is served in two sittings. The homemade egg pappardelle, larger than usual, are undoubtedly the restaurant's star dish, served with wild boar ragù, venison ragù, or porcini mushrooms and truffle. The sliced ​​steak and steak are also delicious, in addition to the appetizer. To finish, the inevitable wild strawberries with custard or lemon and sugar sauce. Definitely recommended!

The atmosphere is small, simple, and familiar, with outdoor tables overlooking the square: the perfect rustic charm of a village like Nemi. As soon as I sat down, I was struck by the clarity of the menu and the passion with which the dishes were explained to me, many based on traditional game—a true celebration of local flavors. I started with a mixed antipasto of carefully selected cured meats and cold cuts, followed by boldly flavored pappardelle with wild boar and flavorful tonnarelli with venison: each course had that genuine flavor of authentic Italian cuisine that makes you say, "This is truly well done." The service? For the most part, it was friendly and personal, almost like being a guest in the home of loved friends. There were also some less-than-satisfied reviews from customers regarding brusque responses or inflexibility regarding certain requests, but my personal experience was positive. Indeed, I appreciated the care taken in describing each dish and the helpfulness in recommending wines to accompany it. The price-quality ratio is very fair for the area and the attention to quality ingredients: you spend mid-range, but you leave feeling like you've eaten truly well. A traditional dessert and a perfect coffee were the perfect finishing touch. 06/03/2026: I strongly advise staying away. There are many good restaurants in the area; this is simply the first one we've seen—but unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The treatment was simply disgraceful. The waiters laughed at us and talked about us to other customers because they thought we didn't understand the language. They made sarcastic comments to tease us, saying things like "Look, there are dolphins in the lake," clearly trying to humiliate us in front of the entire restaurant. It was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. We felt very uncomfortable throughout the entire dinner and just wanted to finish eating and leave as quickly as possible. In the end, when we went to pay after a long wait for the bill, while we were still counting the money, one of the waiters came to send us away, speaking in a very rude and arrogant manner. To top it all off, we had severe stomach pains that evening and the next day. Overall, a truly awful experience. I'll never come back.
