14/09/2025: An experience to repeat!!! The first courses, side dishes, and appetizers were excellent, simple but delicious. The porcini mushroom lasagna was spectacular! The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was also delicious.

14/09/2025: Every time I come to Monterano, I always stop at Trattoria Manturna. The food is excellent and everything is delicious. Very quiet place. Compliments to everyone for the speed of service and compliments to the chef. See you next time 😜

11/10/2025: We love it. We stumbled upon it three years ago by chance, looking for a place to eat, and despite its modest appearance, instinct told us to stop. The lady cooks like a pro: pajata, truffle ravioli, and bombette stuffed with anduja and provola cheese... Everything is super homemade and delicious. And the gentleman is incredibly friendly and welcoming; he spoils us with a drink, even a non-alcoholic one for my son, and always has a kind word for everyone. We hope it never changes, and I'm a little sad to write this review for fear it will be overrun by tourists, but they truly deserve it.

09/10/2025: We went for an aperitif and were amazed by the quantity and quality of the products, everything was delicious and the spritz was excellent, highly recommended.

13/10/2025: DELUDED BY THE REVIEWS. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, which contradicts most of those left by users, but our experience was not positive. The food was mediocre, mediocre, and over-seasoned (abundant oils, over-abundant sauces). The beans with pork rind were undercooked, the oxtail stew was more than just meat in sauce (the kind you use to season pasta, so to speak) with 1 liter of sauce, and the chestnut and bean soup—which I had high expectations for, given the season—was flavorless. The chestnuts were bland. The ring cakes were undercooked, and tasted like yeast, despite being beautiful. In short, I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it. The service was positive, courteous and attentive, though undersized given the number of seats and the structure of the restaurant (which has three separate areas). I've attached two sample photos of the dishes we ordered. The price of lunch was very reasonable, I would have preferred to pay double but eat as the average food in those areas is.
