23/10/2025: With the utmost respect for those who work hard and strive to achieve the best results, we felt it was only right to offer our own contribution regarding our experience at this restaurant. I'll start by saying that, as Tuscans, when it comes to meat at the table, it's always difficult to make "foreign" judgments, but with a little objectivity, it can be done. And that's precisely the point: the meat. I had fond memories of Osteria 1701 from 2018, brought by friends, and my memory brought back a beautiful Florentine steak of far superior quality than this last time. I wanted to share this experience by bringing a couple of friends. According to those present, only the beef fillet passed the test, with no particular enthusiasm regarding its taste and texture, especially considering the price tag of 70 euros/kilo. The tagliata (declared Angus), however, are to be forgotten, especially the one with the "treasure hunt" of mushrooms (actually transparent), which was marked up by €7 instead of €20 for approximately 250 grams of meat. Despite being cooked rare, it was tough, dry, and lacked the classic fresh, neutral aroma. The few mushrooms that were present were unfortunately tough and tasteless. The sautéed chicory was good, although too dry and stringy; the baked potatoes and desserts were excellent. The 100% markup on Riflessi di Sant'Andrea at €12 was "discounted." The plating was basic, sometimes too much, and the service was average. The flies were a nuisance, and there was no air conditioning because he said they were "annoying." To recap: Three covers for a total of approximately 750 grams of meat, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, 1 Riflessi red wine, 2 bottles of water for €102.50. It's a shame, beyond the price, especially for the betrayed expectations, maybe we will adopt the principle of "there's no two without three ..." and the next one will go better?!

22/10/2025: The food is excellent, they don't skimp on quantity, and the wines are also well-suited to the type of restaurant and menu, as is the location. A great place for a meat-based evening, we'll definitely be back.

30/09/2025: Lovely place. Been around the world and this place slightly reminds me of the wildest places I have been to, but at the same time welcoming like home. The breakfast, all you need to start a good day, is fantastic and available until 10am. Rooms are simple clean, and quite large. I don't think you can ask for more, when looking for a easy going seaside experience on the shores where Odysseus got seduced by Circe, and where the land with its winds and sounds still is capable to bring you in a world far far away. It's quite easy to get the food and the fact that it doesn't run restaurant during every evening, but only near the weekends like on Fridays, is a great incentive to go explore outside the nearby towns. This place feels like family. Explore, and relax in the heart of the agricultural southern Lazio communities, and take your opportunity to reconnect with Nature. --- If only the municipality, the region the Italian State and Europe could invest more in this place redesigning the roads network by removing the "litoranea" and opting for a perpendicular approach by only-walkable paths (like others have done), with large parking far from the sea, protecting the dunes... , cleaning the beach and the swamp more and regulating fisherman terrible practices, the beach and these gifts we have been given would become a true paradise. -- Thanks for hosting us!

21/02/2026: We found this restaurant by chance while we were cycling in the area thanks to a gentleman passing by who recommended it to us. We were skeptical at first but were pleasantly surprised. We ate wonderfully, from the starter to the dessert. Congratulations, when you do a good job, you have to write it down! 😉 We only have a photo of the dessert, obviously completely finished.

30/11/2025: Welcoming place, courteous staff, and a friendly owner. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, and the pizza was excellent, Roman-style. I returned on August 15th with friends for a seafood dinner. Everything was delicious, from the mixed appetizer to the tagliolini allo scoglio, the fried fish, the side dishes, and the desserts. Pietro, one of the owners, is always courteous and helpful, and the table service is also top-notch in terms of courtesy and speed. If you're in Sabaudia, stop by; it's definitely worth it. November 2025: Traditional polenta at Lo Zaffiro, exceptional, with broccoli, spare ribs, and sausage...always top-notch.

12/02/2026: Decent atmosphere. Very good and plentiful food. Possibility to watch football matches. Decent/high prices depending on the order. Suitable for all budgets. Courtesy and friendliness are the hallmarks. Highly recommended. Reservations are always recommended! Quite a popular place.

28/10/2025: The cake was hard and burnt, impossible to cut. The restaurant needs to modernize both its menu and the dining room. The room was deafeningly silent and had an unpleasant odor.

25/08/2025: A true gem on the beach! The atmosphere is welcoming and informal: you can dine in your swimsuit and relax, but the cuisine is refined and meticulously prepared. The chef is amazing, the ingredients are excellent, and every dish is a delight. Kudos also to the restaurant owner and all the staff, always kind, helpful, and attentive. Perfect for those seeking quality, flavor, and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere!

23/08/2025: I've been going to this beach for many years. The beach is clean and the restaurant has excellent food. My grandchildren always want to have lunch when we go.
