18/08/2024: As soon as we arrived, the owner approached us and asked us what we wanted to eat: we replied that we would have ordered a starter and a second course; he tells us "then I'll bring you a starter and for the second course I have a nice sea bream caught today". We accept the proposal. Result: total of 200 euros for two (100 euros for starter and 90 euros for sea bream). Absurd experience began to arrive various portions of appetizer but all tiny: 4 marinated anchovies he charged 17 euros, the mussels were ALL empty and also around 17-18 euros, 4 meatballs 17 euros. On the other hand, the waiters were very kind. The price was absolutely out of the market, perhaps they had to compensate for the evening given that there were only 4 seated tables? Among other things, there is another Chinappi in Formia, Michele Chinappi, which is where we wanted to go and which had been recommended to us, but unfortunately we made a mistake in booking. Edit (18/08): Mr. Stefano Chinappi, after the review, contacted me: he invited me and my girlfriend to his restaurant and apologized for what happened, expressing his willingness to remedy what happened. Yesterday (Saturday 17/08) he had the thought of writing to me again to invite me to go to dinner with him, but unfortunately I was no longer in the area. He then had the foresight to reimburse me for all the starters (100 euros). Errors/mistakes can happen (similar events have happened to me other times), but this type of attention to the customer is certainly to be appreciated and, at least personally, no restaurateur has ever been so present after paying the bill and has ever shown this. kind of attention. We will definitely return when we are in the area!

He processes the freshest raw materials naturally. The flavors are clear and well defined...never suppressed or altered. 23/08/2024: It's not a big restaurant but a little place where you can eat something alone or in company, spending little. They have a la carte or a fixed menu for 10 euros of land or sea. I ate the seafood and it was good. Even those who chose the card said it was good. Some friends, however, tried the land menu and were disappointed. The service guys are very kind. I would go back.

22/08/2024: I had requested the menu with pasta and peas and bacon and it arrived and the menu also included meatloaf without asking. The sausage with meat sauce arrived. We asked for explanations and they said that the meatloaf was after two hours, and we told her to let her know that it was finished. and offer us some other opportunity and they told us the chicken we said no thanks, they served it anyway and we sent it back obviously because we hadn't asked for it

01/04/2024: Cena in coppia, cena con amici, cena in famiglia, sono stato in questa Pizzeria tante e tante volte negli anni, prima a Spigno Saturnia e ora a Formia. Non mi ha mai deluso. Personale cortese e sorridente, menù ricco e ricercato, ma anche fedele alla tradizione. La pizza, la vera protagonista, è eccezionale. Tutto qua.

06/07/2024: Esperienza terribile, purtroppo non si potevano mettere meno stelle. Sono andata a cena con la mia famiglia e che dire, sono rimasta senza parole e soprattutto con la pancia completamente vuota. Antipasto della casa indecente, cozze e vongole senza sapore, polpo salato, una fettina di pesce (probabilmente tonno) secchissima. Arriva il 1, una sorta di gnocchetti con pesce, mandati immediatamente indietro. Senza sapore, senza sale e non erano per niente amalgamati con il resto del condimento. Risotto alla pescatora idem. MAI PIÙ!
