24/08/2025: A good dinner, simple but tasty. The menu is limited, but that's justified by the desire to bring fresh food. The owner is friendly, always attentive and available for a quick refresher. The wine was a crisp and inviting Sicilian Grillo. Worth a return visit.

22/09/2025: This steakhouse restaurant is located in the narrow streets of Castellone in Formia (LT). It offers indoor and outdoor seating in the charming tower square. The interior is characteristic: rustic, with stonework and arched walls. Dining in the charming square in front of the tower is a pleasure, with an intimate atmosphere. The extensive menu, accessible by scanning the QR code, includes appetizers (mostly platters), first courses, grilled main courses, side dishes, pizzas, and panuozzi. There is also a wide selection of drinks, wines, and beers. The first courses are excellent: they are prepared with such care and attention that the high quality of the ingredients is highlighted. The meat is delicious, so tender it melts in your mouth thanks to its exquisite quality. The veal tagliata, with cacio e pepe sauce, accompanied by a glass of good red wine is one of the most beautiful and delicious culinary experiences. The desserts are also truly exquisite, perfect for pampering your palate and enjoying a sweet treat at the end of a meal. The staff is kind and friendly: their attentive service makes guests feel at ease.

02/08/2025: We had an excellent experience at La Fontanella Restaurant. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who immediately made us feel at home, as if we were visiting old friends rather than a restaurant. Our lunch was all about the freshest seafood, and the dishes were all delicious and of the highest quality. Everything we ate was reasonably priced, and we were also offered coffee and liqueurs. We will definitely be back, and we will cherish the wonderful memories of this culinary and human experience. See you soon.

17/06/2025: I often go to this place with my wife, a lover of sweets. Excellent coffee and delicious sweets, prepared directly in their laboratory, located in the back of the place. The owner is very nice and ready for a joke. The staff is very polite, Enea stands out for his friendliness. Well done and congratulations.

30/03/2025: We're not quite there... We went in for a prosecco, ordered in the outdoor area but had to go back immediately because of the smell of smoke (smoking is allowed indiscriminately despite the room being enclosed by a curtain). Inside, they served us three proseccos: in plastic cups! Horrific. When we asked for something to nibble on, we were served just two chips for four people. Poor quality prosecco (on par with the kind you find in panettone). Finally, the bill of €13.50 was completely unrelated to the (nonexistent) quality of the product and the service. I won't go back, not even by mistake. It's only good as a place for kids who want to get drunk, nothing more.

17/08/2025: My family and I dined here during our vacation and were truly satisfied. The service was quick and efficient, with friendly and very professional waiters. Despite the restaurant being busy, the wait was minimal. The food was excellent: every dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious. The wine was also excellent and paired well with the dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and excellent value. Highly recommended, we would definitely return!

03/08/2025: It's better to go in the evening, when the guys are more engaging, clear about everything, and especially smiling... compared to the service provided by the girls at lunch, who only stare unpleasantly at other people, and perhaps give more comfort to regular customers!!! Terrible, especially considering their work attire; they usually wear a uniform and appropriate clothing!!!! The only positive thing was the food!!!

12/08/2025: I was there this evening and I must say I was amazed by the quality of the dishes and the kindness of the waiters. The pizza was excellent and the appetizers were excellent. I highly recommend it.

09/08/2025: Worst pizzeria I've ever seen. There were 15 of us in the restaurant, and I mean in the ENTIRE restaurant, and we had to wait more than 1:30 for 7 pizzas. The location sucks, you can see the vintage clock on the right and the oxygen sponsor on the left. Not to mention the staff, there are only 2 of them, and we had to tell them 15 times to take the order. The music was terrible (this was personal), the cutlery was terrible, the plastic plates for the appetizers were few choices of appetizers, and the portions were tiny. Furthermore, my menu was delivered incorrectly, meaning it was missing some pages that the others had. I ordered a diavola pizza, the dough was decent, but the tomato and mozzarella were really bad. I found the salami slices large, but at least it was spicy, so I'm giving it a star.

09/08/2025: Arriving at 9:00 PM in the Formia square, we asked the clerk if we could dine in without a reservation. A few tables were free, and they sat us down. Unfortunately for us, after ordering two pizzas at 9:00 PM, the pizzas arrived at around 10:39 PM. Meanwhile, the beer and water were hot. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded. The pizza, however, was good.

04/05/2025: Restaurant recommended by a friend who was certainly lucky, because the room is dirty with both the chairs and the floor with crumbs and what a lunch entails, the dishes for what they cost, as an inexperienced person I would do much better and I don't dare imagine the state of the kitchen based on the conditions of the room mentioned above, I strongly advise against it.
