10/11/2024: One of the best restaurants in Tarvisio with very good value for money. The Pasta Frutti di Mare, the pizza and also the profiteroles tasted excellent.
Highly recommended - unfortunately it's always very full on weekends and you can't get a free table

24/08/2024: We stayed in this family-run hotel and had a wonderful time... Exemplary hospitality and courtesy, excellent cuisine, varied and abundant buffet breakfast with quality products, clean and comfortable rooms with large bathroom, large and comfortable beds. We thank Manuela
and Gianni for his kindness and excellent advice and the waiter Gigi for serving us with attention and care. Large free parking in front of the hotel and bike rental next door. 17/08/2024: eh...it was an unlucky choice to pick parmigiana di zucchine. i left hungry, but with 16 eur less in my pocket. i originally went for gnocchi , but there was none, so i quickly picked parmigiana. as i m a cyclist and need calories, a pasta with meat would have been way better. funny that a parmigiana zucchine where there is only veggies and cheese can have such price. such product i would price it max 9 eur.
when paying, i commented to the owner. they are certainly nice people but not on the ball enough to comprehend what to recommend to guests.
14/08/2024: We wanted to eat pizza after a hike - unfortunately we were ignored for 10 minutes and then informed that no food orders would be accepted for the next hour. It can happen, but you can definitely communicate earlier and in a more friendly manner.

15/09/2024: The Ai Confini restaurant, located directly on the golf course in Tarvisio, is truly a culinary gem!
Here, good, honest cuisine with regional products is offered on a manageable menu.
The number of tables is limited, so it is absolutely recommended to make a table reservation.
The price-performance ratio is great!
Of course, Italian is spoken, but also Slovenian, German and English.
Anyone who can't resist the temptation to divide several dishes onto two plates will be generously rewarded with this option at no extra charge.
This means you can enjoy several starters together.
The drinks menu is very remarkable and includes all of Italy, a few French and all at really moderate prices.
We would be happy to come back here next time and be very hungry.
The fifth star for the kitchen in the rating comes about because the frequency of strawberry crumble on many dishes was not necessarily appropriate due to the acidity... but that shouldn't detract from the overall impression... 👍 🤗

Excellent lasagna.
However, I was disappointed with the pizzas, they are made with frozen dough and it wasn't even specified in the price list.

07/08/2024: Beautiful welcoming hotel run by a family always ready to satisfy the customer, very clean, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast, excellent food too, located in Fusine in Valromana with a view of the mountains of the Julian Alps in a quiet and peaceful place.
I highly recommend it

Alles tip top! Bei Chef Jure kann man sich wohlfühlen..
27/01/2024: Ammetto di non essere obiettivo perchè ogni occasione è buona per venire in questo locale e godere dell'ospitalità di Jure. Menù con varie proposte ed in particolare rilevo la disponbilità a garantire piatti Gluten Free.
Servizio sempre eccellente, simpatico e cordiale.
L'alloggio è inoltre garantito con camere spaziose e fornite di quanto può essere utile in vacanza.

06/08/2024: The best carbonara I've ever eaten! You can taste the pecorino, and the pepper is in the right quantity. Creamy, obviously without cream, and excellent bacon. Unexpected.
03/07/2024: 2 tables are occupied outside, I sit in the garden for almost 10 minutes because I want to drink a coffee. The waitress walks past twice and doesn't respond to my call the second time, nor does she respond to the calls of another guest who wants to pay. Then I got up and drove on, I don't need that.

10/08/2024: We asked if we could have a drink and my wife had dared walk to the front to see if there was seating there. As an immediate result we encountered completely unwarranted, egregious, infantile and vile hostility (all whilst holding a two year old child in my arms). We hadn’t even yet sat down. Though I am sure it was meant to be, the aggressive posturing was not intimidating, but pathetic and thoroughly sad for my child to witness. People become like this toward others when they hate themselves. What a waste of life. Quit.
06/04/2024: Capitati per caso durante un'escursione a piedi (il posto ha una posizione eccezionale sia per chi arriva con la ciclabile ma anche per chi volesse arrivare con l'auto). Subito dopo aver varcato la porta, la cortesia e l'ospitalità della proprietaria prima e dello chef ci hanno fatto sentire un po' come in famiglia. Abbiamo assaggiato il toc in braida (polenta fatta in casa, buonissima), le pennette all'arrabbiata, lo spezzatino (carne molto tenera), la trippa coi fagioli (molto delicata) ed il tiramisù (eccezionale). Vista la qualità e freschezza dei prodotti il prezzo è molto buono...Piacevole anche la chiacchierata finale coi proprietari ed altri ospiti, con un ottimo calice di vino rosso offerto prima di uscire. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornare presto con amici. Grazie ancora D&MG

Spotless rooms and helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent typical food.
The hotel has a beautiful playroom for children and a well-equipped gym.
I highly recommend!!
