01/03/2026: Neither good nor bad... on our way back from a business trip, we stopped here based on the reviews. It's a beautiful place with views of the Sele Valley, welcoming and clean. In my opinion, osterias should offer traditional local dishes using local ingredients. Part of the menu features a few local products, but the rest, while well-cooked, is clearly made with ingredients sourced from large-scale retailers. What I was most disappointed about was that when I returned to the company and asked for a refund for the meal I'd consumed, I was refused because I had a management document in hand, a classic pre-bill that was identical in every way to a tax document. Moral of the story: I lost out of pocket.
25/01/2026: Hosteria dei Ricordi is a truly pleasant discovery: excellent food, carefully crafted dishes, and authentic flavors. The welcoming, warm, and relaxing atmosphere is ideal for lunches and dinners with friends. The service is courteous and attentive. A place we'll gladly return to.

I enjoyed truly excellent trout, incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked, enhanced by simple but quality ingredients.
A pleasant place where you can eat well and experience the authenticity of the local cuisine. Recommended. 🐟✨

They were about to close for lunch, but they waited for us.
The price was more than fair.
As the name suggests, it has a beautiful view of the village.
Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: Very welcoming place as are the owners and staff, very good food, (even gluten-free cooked very well) homemade and genuine at an excellent price, it has a beautiful green lawn outside where you can entertain yourself, we had a very good time.

23/02/2025: Stamane avendo visitato il santuario di san Gerardo abbiamo deciso di pranzare in zona. Siamo stati avvicinati da un sig. che ci ha dato un depliant che pubblicizzava questo locale. 20 euro menù turistico. Un po' titubante sull'esiguo prezzo abbiamo deciso di andarci. Ottima scelta. Si è mangiato veramente bene. I primi buoni , calamarata con filetto di trota e ravioli al sugo. Buonissima la trota al forno. Buono anche l'antipasto. Proprietari simpaticissimi. Uno , Giovanni, era quello incontrato presso il santuario. Abbiamo preso anche delle trote da portare a casa. Consigliato per chi vuole assaggiare buoni prodotti a buonissimo prezzo

15/08/2024: In vacanza a contursi per trovare delle amiche abbiamo cercato su internet un posto dove cenare in modo genuino e abbiamo scelto la fattoria. Il posto è tranquillo circondato da ulivi. Il locale ampio, pulito e minimalista come piace a me
Proprietari gentilissimi, molto disponinibili. Cibo abbondante, di produzione propria, cucinato in modo semplice ma gustoso. Verdure freschissime condite con un olio straordinario . Non posso esprimermi sulla carne e gli affettati perché sono vegetariana ma i miei amici erano soddisfatti che si sono portati a casa le bistecche e le salsicce che non avevano mangiato perché le porzioni sono molto abbondanti. Lo consiglio a chi ama la cucina semplice e genuina. Qualità /prezzo ok

19/08/2023: Di passaggio a Oliveto Citra ci fermiamo per uno spuntino al bar L'etoile.
Il locale è sulla strada principale, con qualche tavolo all'esterno.
Servizio e qualità nella norma, ma i prezzi sono alti, probabilmente ci hanno individuato come turisti di passaggio
