27/07/2024: This was a very nice accommodation. The hosts are readily available and very kind! I was nervous because I booked through a third party and only read some online reviews. I do have to be honest that the check in instructions weren’t too clear though, and I had difficulty finding this place. Given the price, location, and hosts I still give it five stars and would consider staying here again under the right circumstances.

25/05/2024: We had the best stay at Old Taverna Sorrentina! Perfectly located, we never had to walk more than 20 minutes to the most delicious meals and amazing sights. Maria, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We would stay again if we’re lucky enough to be back in Sorrento!

24/05/2024: Stumbled across this gem of a restaurant in the hills above Sorrento. Fabulous views across both sides of the peninsula. Menu is varied and extremely reasonable. Traditional courses offered including pizza if required. The Calzone is the largest I’ve ever seen. The mozzarella starters are extremely fresh. The mixed grill was sublime and the Tiramisu the best we have had in Italy. The proprietor and his family were very welcoming and spent time telling us about the origin of his ingredients and cooking styles We only came here on the off chance, then returned 3 nights running. It’s that good. If you are in the hills above Sorrento don’t settle for mediocre service and overpriced food in Sorrento itself, give this little gem a try. You won’t be disappointed.
