27/08/2025: After last year's positive experience, my family and I returned for an evening. Unfortunately, it was nothing like last year. We ordered two fried fish dishes. Horrible, completely burned. It's a shame, they lost a lot of points, I'm sorry.

06/09/2025: Excellent accommodation in Capo Vaticano. The recently renovated and furnished rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is varied, offering both sweet and savory options. Dinner offers a variety of options, including a first course, second course (meat or fish), dessert, or fruit. The Calabrian dinner on Fridays is delicious, with live music. The location is ideal for reaching Grotticelle beach (we used the paid shuttle service), as well as visiting Tropea (easily reached by train), Pizzo Calabro, Zungri, and Riaci beach. A pleasant walk takes you to the Garden of the Gods to admire the sunset over Stromboli. We were able to admire it even from our room overlooking the pool (see photo). August 2025.

05/08/2025: We're just finishing our stay at the hotel and are very pleased with the hotel, its location, and the excellent service. The food was delicious; we didn't have a chance to try dinner, but the atmosphere and aromas were very tempting. During our stay, a music evening was organized – fantastic. The rooms, hotel, and grounds were very clean – I felt almost at home. 🙂 I highly recommend the hotel also for its beautiful beach, which is accessible by local bus and a choo-choo train – a great attraction for children. The beach itself is so lovely that you won't need to look for another one. From the train station, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, you can visit the towns of Tropea and Scilla – highly recommended! I'll definitely be back...

24/06/2025: A wonderful little family trattoria in an idyllic setting. The three different menus satisfy all needs. The flavors are dazzling, the atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant and you can feel in everything that they love to offer the best of everything to happy and returning guests. 5* and even a mini Michelin for the farm to table approach. Adorable.

14/06/2025: We happened upon it by chance and discovered a really nice trattoria, located inside a hotel but also open to external customers. They offer three fixed menus, well structured and suitable for different preferences. I highly recommend the cuttlefish salad: it was really good! 21/08/2025: The service is poor, the waiters are unsympathetic, the food is average, and the prices are quite high for the quality of the place. The real surprise at the register—unfortunately, I only noticed it when I was already far away—was that the receipt they gave us wasn't a tax receipt, but a "preliminary bill" with the words "Please come home to collect the receipt," a typical system used by tax evaders. For someone like me who has always paid and continues to pay full taxes, it's a real insult. Never again. Shame.

18/08/2025: We had dinner on Sunday evening with friends. The location was welcoming and well-maintained, the pizza was good, but the seafood spaghetti was undercooked and lacking in sauce. The wait staff was friendly but unprofessional.

05/09/2025: A property with great potential, but neglected and disorganized. Friendly and helpful staff.

04/09/2025: At this campsite, you'll find the ideal location for your needs: spacious, shaded pitches, tranquility, and, not least, a cold shower on the exit ramps from the sea to rinse off after a swim... in a stunning sea, with just a few strokes you can reach the cliffs of Capo Vaticano. Almost at the end of the season, you'll find the staff still smiling and helpful, excellent food and pizza at fair prices. The things I've really missed... are the respect of so many campsite guests... who could simply leave things as they find them CLEAN. At the end of the stay, a little something was always there, and a goodbye.

14/07/2025: Grandioso. Vera cucina locale e piatti tipici. Fatti artigianalmente, una di quelle trattorie che speri di trovare quando cerchi un locale tipico. Trovati per caso e siamo felici di esserci fermati. Super consigliato:)

12/07/2025: Di solito scrivo una recensione solo se positiva, ma quando un cliente si lamenta e non riceve nemmeno una spiegazione o un "mi dispiace", allora forse con una recensione scritta forse viene ascoltato. Ho chiesto un piatto che nel menu viene descritto come "filetto di maiale con costine", invece mi è stato servito una carne che sembrava una braciola divisa in due, dura e piena di nervi, immangiabile. Non ho mai visto un filetto di maiale con l'osso. Le costine ovviamente erano metà grasso, quindi nel totale avrò mangiato l'equivalente ad una piccola bisteca. Oltre che dura la carne aveva un retrogusto di leggermente scaduta. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ogni piato. Il locale era pieno e ci sta un'attesa un po' più lunga, ma mezz'ora è tanto. Capisco che in un posto di mare si mangia meglio il pesce, ma allora forse è meglio lasciar perdere la carne. Ci hanno dato un sconto di 3 euro per l'accaduto...
