15/11/2025: I had lunch this morning. The staff was exquisite, with special mention for Antonio. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was homey, just the way I like it.

10/11/2025: Wonderful place, very kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent and homemade food, pleasant walk after lunch in the surroundings of the farmhouse with beautiful views and enclosures with animals, we will definitely be back, highly recommended!!

22/11/2025: The rooms are extremely clean, as is the hotel itself. The service is attentive and professional. The hotel is located in the center of town. I wanted to share with you some of the restaurant's truly delicious dishes! Everything is excellent and top-quality.
16/11/2025: We just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel in the fairytale Villaggio Mancuso and couldn't be more satisfied. From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered: the staff was extremely welcoming, attentive, and always available to make our experience truly special.
The property is immersed in a magical atmosphere, amidst fragrant woods and rejuvenating silence, perfect for those seeking peace and authenticity. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with every comfort.
A special mention goes to the cuisine: having gluten-free needs, we often find limited options or little attention, but here we were truly satisfied in every way.
A stay we will fondly remember and one we recommend to anyone who wants to experience the Sila with quality, warmth, and service that makes you feel truly at home. I also recommend the spa program, especially the private Jacuzzi, which was a wonderful experience. Thanks to all the staff

Nicolas and Salvatore are superb hosts, kind and friendly.
Paola and I absolutely have to stop by when we're in Taverna; it's always a pleasure.

06/08/2025: Semplicemente poesia. Panificazione da urlo: consiglio la scrocchiarella con crema di patate, funghi e caciocavallo.
03/08/2025: Il punto forte del locale senza dubbio il panino croccante e l'altra versione di cui mi sfugge il nome, capolavori di semplicità e gusto. Il panino/pitta, dorato e fragrante, viene sfornato quotidianamente e ha quella crosta sottile ma decisa che si rompe al morso con un suono irresistibile. All’interno, ingredienti del territorio selezionati con cura formaggi locali, salumi artigianali, funghi, cipolle di Tropea, si combinano in un equilibrio perfetto, valorizzando ogni sapore senza sovrapporsi.
Personale, credo a conduzione familiare, costituito da giovani ragazzi, è super gentile, cordiale e disponibile. Vale la pena recarsi a Villaggio Mancuso solo per assaporare questi deliziosi panini. UNICI

06/07/2025: Locale caratteristico e storico al punto da riportare le pagine di giornale con i discorsi di Mussolini (quello del ventennio). Apologia a parte, l’accoglienza e il servizio lasciano spazio ad interpretazioni, mentre ogni speranza si concentra invano, nell'assaggio della cremolata di fragoline che, altro non è, lo scongelamento precoce delle fragoline immerse in acqua fredda. Mentre eravamo intenti a consumare seduti ad un tavolo, uno dei gestori invita una cameriera ad alzare le sedie sui tavoli in modo da far capire agli astanti che si era nella sala sbagliata.
“Che già l’ora si avvicina…” - faceva “Faccetta nera” - di salutare e dire “a mai più” a questo posto di trogoloditi.
Ps: Peccato non si possa mettere ZERO stelle!
