07/08/2025: A fantastic dinner by the sea! Il Calamaro is a little gem on the Tortoreto seafront! We had an exceptional and very light fried fish dish. The owners were very kind, professional, and welcoming.

07/08/2025: Il Calamaro was a wonderful discovery! Delicious fish, lightly fried. We tried the various items on the menu without feeling overwhelmed. Special mention goes to the fried cod and the excellent wine selection. The owners are very friendly and the service is efficient. All this right by the sea...truly the best!

16/07/2025: A wonderful experience! We dined at this restaurant, which we found while strolling along the seafront, and it couldn't have been a better choice! Starting with the kind and inclusive welcome, we ate excellent fish, from the fresh and tasty appetizers to the flavorful first courses, choosing from a detailed and high-quality menu. We also tried the delicious pizzas, offered in a wide variety of flavors. Perfect combinations for those who love tradition and quality. The dinner was made even more enjoyable by the prompt, efficient, and empathetic service; especially Daniel, who accommodated our every request. One of our fellow diners, having an allergy, communicated it and received the appropriate, non-trivial attention. Highly recommended! P.S.: Prices are very average, which is not a given these days.

07/08/2025: The spaghetti with clams was delicious (I've never had such good spaghetti)... Fair prices and generous portions... The owner was a little nervous that evening, but oh well, it happens to everyone... we'll be back.

05/08/2025: A very pleasant surprise! The food is excellent; I haven't had such well-made appetizers in a long time. The wine is excellent, and the first course is delicate yet flavorful. In short, I'm very happy.

15/07/2025: A restaurant in the center of Tortoreto Alto, with a wonderful panoramic view from the outside. Reservations are required, and in some cases they may have two sittings, so ask. The food is excellent; the meat is excellent, and the service is also very efficient, run mostly by women. The platter of classic cured meats includes a perfect warm focaccia (although the mortadella is a bit out of place in Abruzzo). The fried cheese was good (although, in my humble opinion, a larger slice could have been used, given the price), and the side vegetables were very good. Let's move on to the meat: a wonderful Picanha (although it didn't look like 300g), perfectly cooked, and a wonderful Heifer Cuberoll with a griddle to control the cooking—I have nothing else to say about that. We also tried the arrosticini (which, given their size, aren't Abruzzo arrosticini); they weigh 30g. And they're hand-cut, which justifies the price. Both the classic and the liver are good, but not the best. I was hoping to taste better. Perhaps because of their size, which compromises both cooking and tenderness. 13/07/2025: A restaurant located in the village of Tortoreto Alto. I visited with my girlfriend and had a truly magnificent dinner. The restaurant offers a large outdoor space for dining both inside and out. In addition to the usual rustic dishes like arrosticini, antipasti, and focaccia, I highly recommend the Black Angus burger—an explosion of flavor! A highly recommended restaurant for all families! Plus, I even get to play my accordion there!

23/08/2025: Beautiful resort in the hills just steps from the sea. We vacationed with our children and had a wonderful time. Excellent service, delicious restaurant, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The superior room, divided into two areas, was very comfortable for four people. The pool was great, and the small playground was great for the kids. Everything was beautiful, we'll be back!

11/07/2025: A very positive experience. We tried the appetizers, two samples of the first course, and two samples of the second course. Everything was truly fantastic. Congratulations to the Chef and her staff! Highly recommended.

06/05/2025: We always eat very well, but perhaps a little less compared to the past. A few notes about the clams (lupini) not being very fresh, maybe it happened. I always suggest booking a not very large place with relative availability. The owners are very kind as always.

08/08/2025: First experience at this hotel, I really enjoyed it. The location is quiet, the rooms and bathrooms are large enough, the staff are very friendly, and the bar and restaurant are on site, which even if you don't have half board, offers the option of dining whenever you want. Evening entertainment is mostly for children, but when they take center stage, it's fun. I'd just like to offer one piece of advice: a slightly different breakfast each day and the inclusion of salami among the savory options (which always pleases everyone), but this isn't meant as a criticism. The shuttle service to the beach and the cleanliness of the facility are excellent. I'll definitely be back.
