14/08/2024: We always happily return to Villa Elena. Excellent cuisine, there is always plenty of choice. Typical local dishes are always present. The wait staff is attentive and quick. The service is attentive, and the staff is always friendly and ready to satisfy the customer's needs. To reach the beach there is a shuttle and bicycle service The rooms are spacious and clean Congratulations to all 5 stars well deserved

14/08/2024: First experience in this hotel with two small children (almost 2 years old and 3 and a half years old). We had a great time, very kind staff, from the night receptionist, to the guys in the room, to the ladies in charge of cleaning. We had full board with drinks included, excellent value for money. Exquisite cuisine. Bicycles always available, even with seats for children. Swimming pool with adjoining shallow area just for children, hydromassage, water blade, we spent entire afternoons there. Covered parking. The only observation is that meals tend to last about 1 hour and a half, and especially for those with small, impatient children, lunch can be a bit long. 20/08/2024: I live abroad and every time I come to spend my holidays in Tortoreto, the Lighthouse becomes my favorite culinary destination. The initial impression of the restaurant does not do the slightest justice to the very high quality food offered. The value for money of this restaurant, in my opinion, is unbeatable. The professionalism, full of humanity that distinguishes the manager Gianni, is the genuine one of other times. Anyone who wants to feel at home in a restaurant should not miss this opportunity. The only problem is that if you don't book your table in time, you risk not finding a seat.

23/08/2024: Excellent restaurant with very fresh raw materials. Place run by capable and smart people. Homemade pasta which is not for everyone. What can I say...trying is believing!

04/09/2024: Don't go to work in this place!!!!!! I worked in the kitchen this summer, and I wasn't paid everything I was promised. I'll answer you here: I don't think it's convenient for them to put the pay slip online, because everyone knows that by doing 2 shifts in a restaurant you can never work 4 hours a day as you stated, then the name of the person who made the pay slips is also available and it's also negative publicity for them. Nowadays being honest is a virtue that not everyone can afford.

01/09/2024: This place is paradise!! If you thought that paradise didn't exist you were very wrong, come to this place and you will realize it! I'm always very fussy with reviews... and I'll tell you about my experience. The place is located on a hill in the middle of the greenery, quiet and welcoming. So if you want to relax and get away from everything it's the ideal place. I was a guest one day, just for the pool and I had a great time. The staff is very polite, friendly and welcoming. The service is so impeccable that they even bring you cocktails directly to your umbrella at the pool. In the afternoon there is the possibility of eating fruit grown by them and cocktails while you are calmly relaxed on the very comfortable sun loungers by the pool. There is a bar service outside for making your own drinks. There are two bathrooms kept clean and very well. Behind the swimming pool there is a very well-kept forest, so you can easily take 4 steps in the area in complete tranquility. Pets are allowed. The people are all polite, there are no shouts and shouts because in any case it is a controlled place. To book to just go to the pool without staying overnight you need to call and arrange with the reception because places are always extremely limited, to rightly give priority to the well-being of those staying at the hotel. I give top marks! Pool kept extremely clean. There is nothing out of place and everything is in order. Getting there by car is a bit awkward on the road, but in the end it is possible. Because being at the top of a hill, even parking has to be done on a slope on a somewhat bumpy road, but it's still worth it.

12/08/2024: Jacopo and his father the Aerodynamicist are fantastic. Nice, fast, quick and attentive to everything. Like a true customer-oriented service of the past, which is no longer so easily seen. The serious menu proposals, the right variety for a quality product. Top local wines. In my opinion a little gem in Tortoreto Lido. I loved everything. Even the white tables with blue placemats. Simple elegant essentials.

12/08/2024: A bitter return I have known this restaurant for many years now, and it has always been a regular stop for me here in Tortoreto. Its strong points were the quality of the ingredients, the price and the generous portions. After returning to the venue this year I was able to see that these strengths have unfortunately changed. The restaurant seems to have worn very different clothes from those of a few years ago. The place has become a high-end restaurant that also offers tastings, in itself this choice does not lead to any problems except that the dishes that were once offered have remained the same, only with halved portions and double the price. A choice that could have been acceptable has become nothing more than a sad change of facade that unfortunately maintains the same substance. After these changes I don't think I will return to the restaurant, which although remaining a good restaurant, in its new guise remains mediocre compared to the competition. A small, honest and affordable local restaurant has lost all the qualities that were attractive to its long-time customers, so it was a very bitter return.

26/07/2024: Pleasant return this evening with my family for dinner here at Squalo and I am pleased to confirm everything written below. Everything is always good and fresh. "I discovered this restaurant over 44 years ago when I found myself in Tortoreto Lido for work. The owner Antonio (Tonino) is an exquisite person and always up to par. The courtesy and kindness combined with the quality and variety of the dishes with fish always fresh and excellently cooked, they are a winning cocktail. Always satisfied every time I used their cuisine. FROM SUMMER 2023 THEY NO LONGER DO TAKE AWAY SERVICE. Definitely recommended.

27/08/2024: Bagno normale, avrebbe un bel potenziale se migliorasse un paio di cose la doccia non è pensabile che sia a pagamento sia la fredda che la calda. Buono il servizio animazione con ragazze gentili e non invadenti. Inoltre se si dà l'accesso ai cani idem andrebbero fornite ciotole sacchetti x bisogni ma questo è un suggerimento x distinguersi so bene che in Abruzzo gli stabilimenti balneari non hanno questi servizi c'è di positivo che non fanno infatti pagare alcun supplemento x i cani.

15/08/2024: Since they moved to “Al Curvone” I go at least once for every stay in Abruzzo. Excellent dishes, almost gourmet (I recommend the Gran Sasso tagliatelle), well-made kebabs and artisanal Ascoli olives. In those with truffles, you can really taste the truffle. Heavenly grilled meat. Super-stocked cellar. Just a piece of advice (I don't want to be a cheap Alessandro Borghese): if a wine on the list is not available, the customer should be notified immediately. However, the service was courteous and professional. Prices in line with those of the area (perhaps a little lower than average). ATTENTION: they don't have fish. This is NOT a criticism, just a warning. Suitable for everyone: families with children, even small ones, groups of friends, couples...

31/08/2024: Beautiful structure for those who want total relaxation, beautiful and very clean room, courteous and friendly staff, and congratulations for the spirit of inclusion even for disabled people. The only advice is to vary the breakfast a little more. Beautiful week
