Upon entering, you find yourself immersed in a magnetically beautiful setting, imbued with that Hare Krishna spirituality that immediately invites you to turn down your mind and let yourself be enveloped in a warm and refined atmosphere. The courtesy of the service is the true highlight: a welcome from another era, made of kind smiles and a care for guests that goes far beyond mere professionalism, making the visit extremely pleasant. For our dinner, we wanted to put the cuisine to the test by sampling both the vegetarian and vegan menus, curious to discover how devotional tradition translated into the dish. To accompany the meal, an unexpected surprise: a truly excellent selection of beers, capable of providing notes of freshness of the highest caliber. However, while the spirit and the setting are striking, the gastronomic offerings failed to exert the same charm. Despite the evident care taken in the preparation, the flavors remained in a comfort zone, perhaps too timid; they lacked that aromatic boost, that interplay of spices and textures you expect from a journey of this kind to truly captivate you. The dishes are adequate, but they fail to match the enchantment of such an evocative location. It remains a precious address for those seeking an oasis of peace and a rare human warmth found in the city, even if the palate, this time, remained waiting for an emotion that never arrived.

14/12/2025: After many years, Shiva remains my go-to Indian restaurant in Milan because the food is always delicious, the prices are affordable, and the set menus are well-designed (I like both the Shiva and vegetarian menus). Not all the ingredients are top-quality (the menu says the chicken is Aia, and the shrimp don't seem particularly fresh either), but so far I haven't found better Indian cuisine in Milan. The staff are always very friendly, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

09/03/2026: I returned to Rajput in Milan after years and found their dishes consistently excellent. The chicken tikka masala is always a guarantee, as are the naan. The staff is old-fashioned and friendly. Always smiling. It was a pleasure to return. Recommended.

08/04/2026: We had food there on easter monday, we went with high expectations, but it was horrible to say the least, there ran out of most things but instead of informing the same to us, they tried to sell things, made us wait for long and food we got was a real disaster, unfortunately we had to leave the food as it was not possible to eat, normally when you visit indian restaurants abroad they ask for feedback and we have been living aborad for 10 + years now, but this time for the first time no one asked because perhaps they themselves knew it was a disaster. At least we will never visit this place or recommend this to any one

07/04/2026: Had a wonderful experience at Malabar Spicy! The food was authentic, flavorful, and reminded me of real Indian taste. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely a great place to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine in Milan. Highly recommended!

03/03/2026: We had a great time. We booked a table for two the day before, and even showed up 10 minutes early, but they seated us anyway. The food was very good, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala and Cheese Naan. The only thing I would have liked was a little more spiciness in my Vindaloo sauce. We'll be back!

07/03/2026: I'm a Taiwanese tourist visiting Japan in February 2026. The pho and Indian curry in Europe are trustworthy! There are many Indian and Pakistani curry restaurants near my accommodation; this is one of them. I ordered creamy curry chicken and some brown chicken whose name I couldn't read. Both were delicious. I also ordered cheese naan, garlic naan, and Masala Tea—all delicious! 💰The total cost for two people was NT$1021 (feels cheaper than in Taiwan) 🧈Creamy Curry Chicken Don't worry about it being too creamy; it's mild and not spicy (you can adjust the spiciness). It's a rich curry chicken. It's very similar to the delicious creamy curry chicken I've had in Taiwan, but with more meat—at least 8-10 large chunks. The chicken isn't dry at all; it's really tasty. It's great with naan bread, but in the end, it still felt a bit too much. It was really quite delicious, not the kind of amazing, unparalleled taste, just similar to what I've had in Taiwan, but with more meat, and it seems cheaper (Indian curry in Taiwan is so expensive). 🫓Naan Bread Authentic Indian naan bread usually has fillings in the middle, like cheese naan bread which has fillings in the center. The roti contains cheese, not just cheese powder. This place has cheese in the middle, and it's the kind that's slightly stringy. The portion isn't large, but you can clearly taste the cheese without it overpowering the aroma of the roti and curry. Delicious! The garlic roti is also quite fragrant, with plenty of minced garlic, so every bite has garlic flavor. The staff said two servings are enough for two people, but I think three would be better. There would probably be a little bit of roti left, but that would allow you to soak up the curry more thoroughly. 🍵Masala Tea The menu photo shows it as milk tea, but it actually doesn't have any milk. It's just a masala tea bag steeped in hot water. The taste is quite normal; it does have the aroma of masala tea. I was a little disappointed to find it was just tea, expecting milk tea. Overall, it's quite good. I ate here today. The staff and other customers all seemed to be Indian or Pakistani, making the two Taiwanese people stand out a bit. However, the staff were very polite and all spoke English. The only minor drawback was that their toilet paper had a warehouse smell; it was stuffy and not very pleasant. lol

13/03/2026: I absolutely recommend it; I go back often. The food is delicious and tasty! They also have less spicy options for those who, like me, don't tolerate it well but still want Indian food. Very friendly staff and fast service.

10/03/2026: A small, well-maintained Indian restaurant. I tried the menu, which is a good way to familiarize myself with a different cuisine. Obviously, I enjoyed some of the dishes more, but the food and the experience were excellent.
