01/04/2024: I had the best naans and tandoori rotis of my life at this restaurant yesterday. Everything from the food quality to the hygiene and the staff experience was above expectations. Hope I can visit again soon 😊

23/03/2024: One star for clean bathroom. terrible restaurant, in things with excessive addition of spiciness it was not possible to distinguish the flavors of the vegetables or the vegetable meatballs. at home I don't recommend it at all. in fact, highly inadvisable for those who would like to eat Indian food and end up tasting only soggy vegetables and curry, even in yoghurt at times. Parking There is no Disabled Service There is no Staff don't speak Italian or English. Vegan food they(staff) have not heard of before.

24/03/2024: While I was studying in Rome for the spring semester, I was looking everywhere for good Indian food. I had tried about 10 places and wasn't satisfied at all. I happened upon Annapoorna with some friends after a class, and we were all blown away. We were received with such a warm welcome from the waiter, the interior was beautiful, and most importantly, the food was indescribable, just incredible. My friends and I could not stop talking about how freshly made, flavorful, and heartwarming all the dishes were at such an affordable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a unique, memorable dining experience in Rome!

19/03/2024: prima volta in un ristorante indiano e devo dire che non era male, forse perchè questo locale è molto bello ed il cibo era ottimo

10/03/2024: Appena si entra in questo piccolo ma curato locale si respira già il sapore dell’India. Servizio simpatico. Piatti classici della tradizione indiani veramente ottimi, c’è una grande possibilità di scelta, compresi molti piatti vegetariani. Da segnalare il Kofta Malai, le melanzane e il pane naan, buonissimo. Conto finale assolutamente adeguato alla qualità del prodotto offerto. Se si vuole mangiare un ottimo indiano, è decisamente consigliato.

07/03/2024: La prima cosa che colpisce è l'arredamento. E finisce lì l'esperienza. All'inizio l'accoglienza è stata calorosa ma poi è degenerata nell'invadenza da parte del proprietario. Io capisco il voler coccolare i propri clienti ma bisogna saperlo fare. Non era cosa sua. Spesso passava per controllare che mangiassimo oppure si permetteva di servirci quando non era richiesto. A me ha messo sul riso bianco il pollo con la sua salsa e mi ha dato fastidio. Era avanzato del riso al curry e la mia amica l'ha dovuto bloccare perché stava per metterlo nel mio piatto pur di finirlo. Anche meno. Inoltre era sgarbato col cameriere che aveva, giustamente, l'ansia mentre serviva. Il cibo va a Fortuna ma nel senso latino del termine. O la va o la spacca. Il pappadam portato come benvenuto era buono. Il tris di salse comprendeva il chutney di mango e verdure (salato), quella al tamarindo (gradevole) e la raita (abbastanza fresca ma non molto saporita). Il mix di antipasti fritti vegetariani erano abbastanza buoni ed erano stati riscaldati. Il paneer fritto non era male ma essendo la prima volta che lo mangiavo non commenterò ulteriormente. I naan erano buoni ma quello al burro non aveva tutto questo grande sapore. Il riso basmati bianco era ok e quello al curry non sapeva di niente. Il fish tikka spada era non solo anemico ma insapore. Il chicken shani korma sapeva di panna e l'unica frutta secca presente era composta da una manciatella di pistacchi tritati. Il Bombay aaloo (patate in salsa di pomodoro) era ottimo nonché il piatto migliore di tutti. I 3 kulfi - gelato indiano al pistacchio, cocco e mango - erano buoni e hanno addolcito la cena non proprio idilliaca. Compresa un'acqua, una birra Kingfisher e lo sconto del 50% con TheFork abbiamo pagato 26€ a persona. E menomale perché non meritava di più. Ci hanno messo pure fretta per chiudere prima il ristorante. Mai più.
