After living in a small rural town in Italy for some years, we miss the variety of cuisine a big city can offer. Its the only Asian eatery around, unless you go to Perugia, the nearest city 40 mins away. My husband is now vegan and I'm gluten free, so finding a place to eat can be challenging! We always have the vegan vegetariano roll (avocado and cucumber) and yasai gyoza (a veg green ravioli dim sum dumplings). A particular favourite of ours is the spaghetti riso!
We always order al la carte as they have an extensive menu, very reasonably priced, super attentive staff and spotlessly clean restaurant and bathrooms. We try and eat here every few weeks, as we live in an adjacent town, we also order take out. Highly recommended!. 👏👍🤗

Después de vivir en una pequeña ciudad rural en Italia durante algunos años, nos perdemos la variedad de cocina que una gran ciudad puede ofrecer. Es el único restaurante asiático alrededor, a menos que vayas a Perugia, la ciudad más cercana a 40 minutos. Mi esposo ahora es vegano y estoy libre de gluten, así que encontrar un lugar para comer puede ser un desafío! Siempre tenemos el rollito vegetariano vegano (aguacate y pepino) y la yasai gyoza (un ravioli verde vegetariano tonto tenue). Uno de nuestros favoritos es el spaghetti riso!
Siempre pedimos a la carta, ya que tienen un menú extenso, a un precio muy razonable, personal super atento y restaurante y baños impecablemente limpios. Tratamos de comer aquí cada pocas semanas, ya que vivimos en un pueblo adyacente, también pedimos comida para llevar.
Muy recomendable! . 👏👍🤗

17/06/2025: Modern, spacious establishment with a very interesting selection of Italian-Oriental fusion cuisine. The extensive menu can even create some stress 😂. The dishes are delicious and the service is very attentive. One drawback is that we were sent to the bar (Vizieto) for dinner despite having plenty of free tables, which ended up not being filled.
04/06/2025: Aside from a table of geese that were constantly cackling, the food was of high quality, as was the bill. I understand the raw material, but I am convinced that some prices could be revised downwards. That said, top service, top dishes, lots of stuff.

12/04/2025: Breathtaking experience in Spoleto (PG). Dishes with the flavor of clean and shining sea! The location is very pleasant, familiar and elegant. The service is excellent! Few times have I eaten such good sushi. 5 stars for life.
07/02/2025: Fabulous sushi!!! Very very kind staff, the place is quiet and relaxing with prices absolutely adequate for the quality of the food served. Furthermore, punctuality with the collection time (important for me as I come from outside Spoleto) on takeaway orders. GOOD

07/01/2025: I promised I’d have rated the very pleasant experience at the Mercato Vianova: great food, really special dishes, great wine, and very good service. I’ll be back as soon as possible. 😊
28/12/2024: We ended up there by chance, without any pretensions or expectations, but fate rewarded us with an incredible experience.
We weren't very hungry, coming from two intense days of Umbrian cuisine, we ordered for two, 2 appetizers (they deserve an honorable mention) that shocked our palate, the waiter was very kind in recommending them and telling us about them with an enthusiasm that overwhelmed us, I included the photos because the eye also appreciated them (beef tongue and amberjack head), we then had a mixed sashimi, very good and 2 portions of Uramaki for 8 that (no offense) were not up to the level of the rest, although good and finally a very good dessert. Wide selection of wines and very good also in drinks (we had 3).
Total cost €106 for two, very well spent.
They literally turned our evening around, well done, well done, well done!

11/07/2025: They changed the name and the menu. The old pictures aren't relevant anymore.
To call what we were served sushi or even Japanese food would be an exaggeration. The cook has no clue what he's doing. The dishes took ages to arrive, they were tiny portions, lack flavor and had funny taste.
We were extremely thirsty for many hours afterwards.
We will definitely not return.

11/05/2025: Every time we come to eat at Tao, which recently renovated the premises, it is an excellent time spent in a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can enjoy not only good quality sushi, but also excellent Chinese and Thai cuisine. If you want to spend a carefree and simple time enjoying good Asian food
advise.

Loro hanno preso due poke e io gli spaghetti di soia, cibo buonissimo e personale molto molto cordiale. ci siamo trovate benissimo e la qualità delle materie prime è ottima.

30/12/2023: Ristorante di cucina orientale facile da raggiungere in quanto si trova nella periferia della città. Locale semplice e ordinato, servizio del personale nella media, offrono il menù on you can eat. Nel complesso è un ristorante esattamente uguale a come tutti gli altri, nessun pregio in particolare. Cibo nella media tendente allo scadente. Non soddisfatti!
