28/08/2024: Kooka is an à la carte sushi restaurant in the historic center of this town in the province of La Spezia, where we have been several times.
We're on the safe side here: we always feel pampered by the service which has been made up of the same team for years - a team that wins doesn't change! The professionalism and courtesy with which they accompany the customer throughout the dinner has not changed either, still remaining on an informal tone, without embarrassing. They will be able to advise you on wines, or explain each dish. Fantastic.
As for the location, the restaurant has more internal rooms for the winter, but the real magic is the summer: you will eat in a wonderful internal garden close to the ancient walls of the city.
We have been to Kooka a great number of times and a rating lower than 5 stars out of 5 has never crossed our minds. We believe hands down that it is the best sushi restaurant in the province of La Spezia; we would perhaps like to see the creativity that characterizes uramaki also played in other parts of the menu.

26/07/2024: We stopped at the restaurant on our way back from the sea. It was a pleasant surprise. Excellent sushi, exceptional sashimi. Price in line with the competition for all you can eat.
22/07/2024: We ordered takeaway and the order arrived on time and the food was good especially the sushi. There was an error on the order but the owner, demonstrating honesty and professionalism, insisted on making a refund the next day for the cost of the wrong dish. Congratulations 👏🏻

04/07/2024: So you think that you can just steal my money from the credit card and nothing it's gonna happen with you ? Prepare for a police visit I don't know how you will cover those 2 transactions of 200 and 500 euros explain to them when I was in Romania at the time you stole my data
Then why you blocked my phone number and you are not willing to help me, I will add here the photos from both transactions. Please unblock my phone number and let's talk this togheter see who did it and show me the pos documents at the end of the day so I can confirm that you didn't took the money at 14:01 Romanian time
04/07/2024: This place steals money from people (I guess its owner). From this phone number somebody hacked the revolut account and made two transactions stealing all the money. When we tried to contact this restaurant, it blocked us everywhere and didn’t cooperate. The Italian police is coming already, but be careful of this scammer.

09/06/2024: Best all you can eat sushi in the area, without a doubt. The quality is clearly superior; the menu has a lot of choice and many dishes that are not often found in other restaurants of the same type. The eel very good and also the sushi with foie gras. The environment is very nice and elegant.

06/09/2023: Het eten is heerlijk. Locatie is niet echt bedoeld om te gaan zitten. Wij hebben hier het eten gehaald en zijn toen naar de haven gelopen om het daar op te eten.
