I went there ten years ago, when Tenji was just a roller shutter, and I remember that feeling of discovery perfectly: sushi paraded before my eyes, made with care and true passion.
Today I return and find a place ten times larger, but with the exact same philosophy as then: do it well, stay true to quality, and never lose sight of its roots despite growth.
Tenji Parma is living proof that consistency pays off over time.
From its minimalist origins to today's restaurant, the leap is enormous, but the spirit is the same: ultra-fresh fish, meticulously prepared dishes, a balance between Japanese tradition and modern creativity.
Every detail—from the presentation to the temperature of the rice—is thoughtfully thought out, and you can tell there's a team behind it who knows what they're doing.
The interiors are elegant, the service quick and friendly, the atmosphere relaxed.
It's rare to find an all-you-can-eat restaurant that never loses quality even when it's full, and here they manage it effortlessly.
In a world where so many clubs are improvised, Tenji remains a sure thing.
From a room with a roller to a true reference point for Parma.
And honestly, I'm happy to say: I was already going there back then. 👏🍣
09/10/2025: After a year, a change was made and I'm really happy that my feedback led to changes so you added more options (nigiri, hosomaki, temaki, uramaki,) with vegetables and plant-based (100% vegan).

04/11/2025: The fish quality was excellent, but the service could definitely be improved.
The first time, the service wasn't up to par with the restaurant.
The second time, the wait was still too long, an order was lost without any waiter realizing it, and once served, the food was cold.

26/10/2025: I tried it for the first time, intrigued by the positive reviews, and ordered takeout. What can I say? They were incredibly kind and punctual. There was nothing left of what I ordered; it was all exceptional! We'll see you again very soon because now I have to try the whole menu. 😋
Years later, I can confirm the quality of the food, Jessica's kindness, and the efficiency of the service. Always a guarantee!

16/11/2025: One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever tried. Simply AMAZING: unique and unconventional dishes, fresh, quality ingredients, and incredibly friendly staff. Truly a highlight!
21/10/2025: The atmosphere was cold (it was 15 degrees Celsius, so we asked for the heating to be turned up.)
After the first courses, the second courses didn't arrive, even after a reminder, and after 40 minutes, we got up and left.
We didn't receive the nigiri and huromaki we ordered; they tried to keep us seated, but over an hour had passed.
Anyway, two covers, a glass of wine, shrimp tortelli, and vegetable soup, €35.

19/08/2025: An alternative to a dinner, to learn about culinary cultures different from our own. Overall, decent.
27/06/2025: If you are looking for a Japanese restaurant, even though I have tried worse, it is not the right choice; a good part of the menu is Chinese as is the management, and all the dishes have this kind of greasy oriental taste (not to mention the smell and cleanliness of the place). Decent sushi considering the low price, but badly plated, the uramaki are so huge that they look like Motta pinwheels. Mediocre to disastrous service, both from the waiters and the owners, and not suitable for those in a hurry. Furthermore, it is not advisable to eat here in the summer given the oven-like temperature inside.

04/10/2025: It's no longer the sushi place it once was. The idea of updating the menu is great, but it doesn't make much sense to offer an open menu if many dishes require extra payment.
The service is a disaster; the waitresses don't know the menu and can't find the dishes on their PDAs to move orders forward. We asked for soy sauce four times and ended up having to serve ourselves from another table.
The quality of the food used to be excellent, but today the same can't be said. Fried foods are served cold and soaked in frying oil, and uramaki are so full of overcooked rice that you don't even notice the fish is there.
This change of direction is a real shame.
02/08/2025: Basically, an experience never to be repeated.
The food quality was average to poor, and the sashimi (tuna and salmon) had the characteristic white streaks of fat from poorly fed farmed fish.
Furthermore, their internal policy seems very devious; specifically, they give you a maximum of 12 courses per person, but you'll only consume 6 due to the disproportionate amount of rice they put in each course.
The rice is overcooked on purpose so that the excess starch releases makes it mushy and heavy, leaving you feeling full right away.
Are they well aware of this? Because at a certain point you're not allowed to order just sashimi, and therefore avoid rice, because there's a rule (not stated at the beginning of your all-you-can-eat experience by the waitress) that you only order 2 sashimi out of 12 courses.
Furthermore, the soy sauce was very salty. When we asked for an unsalted soy sauce, they obliged; but why not ask us to choose at the beginning of the meal and serve us the salty one directly? It seems like they're trying to get us to order as many drinks as possible?
As Andreotti said, it's a sin to think badly, but sometimes you're right.
€92 bill out of a €29.90 all-you-can-eat for two people.

19/10/2024: Sushi d' Oro, e sei subito in Giappone. Arredamento in architettura nipponica con ricreazione in interno delle tipiche strutture orientali, con tetti e tegole Kawara, e portali Shinto.
All you can eat ricercato, e per tutti i palati: sushi, noodles, ramen, piatti cotti e fritto.
Ottimo cocktail bar per il dopo cena, in angolo lounge, riservato e ospitale defilato dalla sala principale.
Personale molto simpatico e disponibile.
