23/01/2026: One of the best sushi à la carte restaurants in Bologna, at Seijo I found a varied sushi and sashimi menu, generous portions, and an interesting selection of Thai dishes that sets them apart. It's located in a residential area with plenty of parking, and they also have indoor parking if needed. I highly recommend all of Seijo's revisited uramaki, the ingredients and dishes are top-quality!

02/02/2026: Attracted by the reviews we'd read online, we went to this restaurant on Sunday evening. Nothing to complain about the plating, as it was truly meticulously prepared, certainly among the most beautiful we've seen so far in Bologna. BUT (there's a big but), we saw a huge cockroach crawling along the wall next to a table and approaching the clean plates. The waiter, noticing its unwelcome presence, quietly reached over with a handkerchief and removed the creature, without replacing the plates underneath or even disinfecting the area in question. We reported the incident at the cashier, but the waiter made it clear he didn't understand what we were saying and didn't know what a cockroach was. So, while I compliment the chef, I won't be returning to this restaurant again. I'm sorry I can't attach the video of what we saw.

28/11/2025: Had an outstanding lunch at Sicilyn today! Some of the best food we've had in Italy. So fresh and the best quality. Service was also lovely, and very accommodating for gluten free, including gluten free soy sauce. Grazie!

07/02/2026: A wonderful experience! Friends had recommended it a while ago, and we finally found the time to try it! An intimate restaurant with limited seating to ensure the best possible service and minimal waiting, considering everything is made fresh. Definitely good value! The owner is very attentive and recommends the best way to enjoy each dish (all traditional Japanese dishes), a great added value!

04/02/2026: When fate calls you by pure chance... I found this beautiful and evocative place by pure chance. A "piece of Japanese home," with a beautiful, clean, and tidy open kitchen. Limited seating (max 8/10), but everything is taken care of down to the last detail. A welcome worthy of respect, kindness, and love for the customer, worthy of this culture! Excellent food with generous portions! After enjoying a nice cup of hot tea, you can't leave without first picking up more takeout to continue enjoying these overseas delicacies at home. They even showed me a photo of the finished dish before putting the lid on, so I could appreciate its aesthetics, because, as everyone knows, appearances matter. A gesture much appreciated. The sushi is also definitely worth trying. The price is definitely in proportion to the quality of the service and food received. Absolutely don't expect "all you can eat." I will definitely be back ❤️

04/02/2026: I love this Japanese/cinema place because even if you're alone, there's so much choice and the quality of the sushi is excellent! Unfortunately, as of today, I have to change my review negatively. As a great customer, I don't go there because I've been twice and each time I've eaten with my jacket on...and I'm not the only one! I pointed this out. They told me it was on and running slowly, so turn it on in the afternoon if you want people to come back!!!! I, like other customers, have said this several times, and they pretended not to notice! So, as of today, my review is a resounding NO.

01/02/2026: We ate tonight, Sunday, February 1, 2026. We were two adults and two children. We spent €76.60 for the all-you-can-eat menu + 2 bottles of water. Everything was fantastic, it's a shame this option has now disappeared from Bologna. The kids had a great time. We'll definitely be back soon, the staff was very friendly.

24/01/2026: My boyfriend and I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the dishes are generous. We always order a meat main course with plain rice and always leave full and satisfied.

31/12/2025: On New Year's Eve, we decided on a 40-piece box before going out. We ordered it the night before and were pleasantly surprised by the elegant presentation and quality of the food. The hostess also gave us a calendar and a Japanese beer. A super positive experience.

27/12/2025: The best ramen of my life! Very well-kept place, we tried both the classic ramen and the chicken one: both excellent. It was very digestible ☺️ We also tried the octopus balls (fabulous!) and the vegan bao: amazing! Desserts not to be missed: the ice cream mochi in 3 flavors, all TOP! Friendly staff, fair price. Thanks, we'll definitely be back!
