02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel.
Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex.
2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE.
Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂).
Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink.
Also very reasonably priced.
A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture.
Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃.
Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was.
Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent

05/01/2026: 1 star not so much for the food or the waiters but for the unprofessionalism of the management.. Italian Sunday evening unacceptable to charge double the cover charge with 2 cover charges because you pay for the event.. First of all it is not specified when you book.. In any case the wording on the receipt is unacceptable.. Because in my opinion the cover charge pays for the service.. Of the waiters who did not clear the table double... So I hope since you pay double for the cover charge, the employees are also paid as such on these days... 0 seriousness!!

04/01/2026: A potentially beautiful property, surrounded by greenery and architecturally interesting... it's a shame it's been poorly managed, starting with the reception (upon arrival, it was impossible to reach the person who was supposed to check in by phone), and leaving aside other oversights... when we had to report the lack of hot water, we were told that it was a holiday (January 1st) and all that could be done was restart the boiler—which never turned on. So, two days without hot water... but of course, when this was pointed out, we were told that we were being pretentious, what could possibly have happened about having to wash with cold water on January 1st, and that it was all just excuses to get a discount... All this was shouted by Mrs. Valeria, who made us look like liars and pretentious. This person needs to take a crash course in good manners and reconsider her role, as I see neither competence nor good manners, provoking people and behaving in an arrogant and aggressive manner. I should point out that we didn't pay peanuts for a room, but 95 euros...the only deserved star goes to Mrs. Patrizia, the breakfast lady...kind, cheerful, and welcoming, just as someone who manages a service that involves contact with the public should be. See you never again!

14/06/2025: Ero già stato una volta in precedenza l’anno scorso e mi ero trovato molto bene. Anche questa volta non si è smentito. Arrivare di giovedì sera in una località turistica e trovare posto quasi subito senza aver prenotato è già una fortuna. Mangiare benissimo e trovare un servizio eccellente è gran fortuna. Cibo ottimo, tranquillità incredibile tanto da non esserci nemmeno accorti che fosse quasi ora di chiusura. Complimenti per tutto.
P. S. Ciliegina sulla torta il limoncello offerto dalla casa. Grazie

- Pizza commandée : avec gorgonzola, crème de cacahuète et patta negra … (inexistant et invisible …)
Il y avait du fromage et des filaments de pomme de terre qui faisaient le boulot .. mais vraiment pas top.
Mon amie a aimé sa salade taosts chèvre miel. C’est juste dommage qu’on soit encore à servir de la salade en sachet plastiques et non de la salade fraîche …

27/05/2025: Esperienza sublime ,servizio attento ad ogni esigenza del cliente .Cucina di alto livello .Ho gustato un flan di verdure come antipasto e un filetto delizioso al vino rosso e cipolla caramellata
Dulcis in fondo una torta di mele con gelato vaniglia .All'interno del locale un'atmosfera che sa di semplicità raffinata .
