10/08/2025: The location is beautiful, the service isn't the fastest, and the prices, in my opinion, are a bit high. €28 for octopus and potatoes, when the octopus was actually just two pieces (see photo), is a bit hard to justify. We spent €70 for two, ordering octopus and potatoes, grilled chicken, water, and a side salad and cooked vegetables. Nearby, we later discovered the 'Osteria dell'Accademia', mentioned in the Michelin guide, which offered a tasting menu for €35 each. See you next time.

19/07/2025: As often happens, the best things happen by chance. We'd been to Montegridolfo before, but we'd never noticed this Osteria located in the heart of the medieval village. This time, a splendid rainbow drew us to the restaurant's terrace, and we decided we couldn't miss out on such beauty. But the best was yet to come. We ordered the famous tagliatelle al ragù, with the meat hand-sliced and chunky. The ragù is typically Romagna, with a red base, the meat of excellent quality, wonderfully cooked, and the pasta was rigorously rough, that is, rolled with a rolling pin, just the right thickness—not too thick, which is very common in restaurants, nor too thin. A work of art, it brought back memories of my mother's tagliatelle, also a cook, who would hand-sliced the ragù just for us. Fantastic. Another mention for the tarts, with a well-balanced and slightly salty pastry. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the woman who served us was very knowledgeable. We also appreciated Chef Rosanna's presence among the tables, to whom we complimented her. We'll be back to try the whole menu. Well done.
