12/08/2025: Finding a good place to dine while wandering the Piacenza hills isn't difficult, but it's always a pleasure, especially on an August evening when finding an open restaurant can be more difficult. A delicious appetizer and buckwheat tagliolini with mushrooms, paired with a nice glass of chilled Lambrusco, brightened up the evening. A more than reasonable price and prompt service complete the pleasant experience.

14/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati a Farini per il fine settimana. Abbiamo cenato al "Piccolo ristorante" la prima sera ed abbiamo immediatamente prenotato per la sera successiva. Ottimi piatti preparati con ottimi prodotti locali. Il locale è "semplice", così come la presentazione dei piatti, la vera differenza la fa la cucina!!!

21/08/2025: Returned after years for dinner with friends. No complaints about the food, the quality is always excellent. When it came time to get the bill, however, an argument with the cashier over how everyone paid ruined a wonderful evening. Having ordered a very expensive rib-eye steak, it didn't seem right to pay "Roman style" and pass the cost on to someone who had only ordered a €9.50 entree. The clerk used decidedly impolite language to express her opinion. It would have been enough to phrase the sentence differently, without huffing or making irritated gestures. The customer isn't always right, but you have to know what to say and how to behave.

15/08/2025: The rooms are basic but comfortable for a few days. Perhaps a shower cubicle instead of a curtain would be the best. Otherwise, the food served was generally excellent.

03/08/2025: This beautifully renovated restaurant is centrally located in the town. It's the beating heart of the Farinesi and a strategic refueling point for passersby, tourists, and travelers. Many appreciate this trattoria's superb aperitifs, delicious pizzas, and delicious traditional dishes. Numerous truck drivers and tow trucks park their vehicles at the scales outside the restaurant to certify their shipments. And under the pergola in front of Bar Bobo, clusters of local aficionados settle in for a game of scopa or a briscola tournament. And let's not forget the football fans, accustomed to chewing on football between courses, who come to watch their favorite team play: given that this restaurant was once home to a large Juventus club, their preference is obviously for "La Signora." Recently, as I was entering this place, comfortably seated on the wooden bench, I saw and greeted the legendary Davide, a football legend and lifelong Napoli fan. He once managed this bar; now, while savoring a Tuscan wine, he enjoys harassing everyone with cards, counting the points with his sly smile.

20/07/2025: Went here with friends after a mountain bike ride. We had a great time, the cured meats are spectacular, as are the other dishes, everything authentic and delicious. The cheese selection is extensive, the house wine is good, and there are also a variety of options. It's perhaps a little pricey, but everything is really good, and the host is very friendly and welcoming. It's an old-fashioned osteria, where you feel right at home.

27/04/2025: Osteria vecchio stampo, di quelle che ormai sono una rarità. Gianfranco, l’oste, ti fa sentire come se mangiassi a casa sua. Già dall’antipasto si chiacchiera tra tutti i commensali. Cucina della tradizione e ben curata. Prezzo onestissimo.

10/08/2025: We had a great time the second time. The food was excellent in both quality and quantity. The staff was very kind and helpful.

01/08/2025: We go for lunch every now and then... the food is always very good, the service is fast and precise, the staff are friendly and professional, and there's a large outdoor space where you can eat al fresco. The only downside is the steps to the bathroom; I don't go there because I can't climb the stairs alone. On Friday nights, we usually get two burgers; they know us by now and as soon as we call, they already know what we're ordering for takeout. Anyway, I give it 5 stars.
