16/09/2025: This evening I discovered Sauris&borc da Bria, a true Friulian restaurant at Via Pietro Toselli 2, a crossroads of Via Padova. The quaint decor helps you relive the old Friulian taverns. Upon entering, you immediately notice a delicious aroma that whets your appetite. I had the rabbit with puree, a delight for the palate, accompanied by masterfully sautéed wild herbs and sweet and sour onions. I savored everything slowly; it's not so easy to rediscover the flavors of the past. I finished with a hot Gubana soaked in slivovec. The friendly owner recommended it, and it's a worthy choice to end a wonderful dinner. The bill was super fair, highly recommended, and a great dinner!

09/10/2025: The owner is rude. Last winter I came here and wanted to order brovada and muset. I asked if they had it, saying I'd read it was a Christmas dish. He replied, "You said something stupid, it's a dish you eat all year round." I was tempted to get up and leave; I was walking from the station, I found a place to eat, and the first thing the innkeeper did was call me an idiot? But it was late, I wanted dinner, so I pretended nothing had happened. I ordered the dish. He came back and told me it wasn't available. I was kind enough not to comment, ate what was available, and left. A truly unpleasant human experience.
