01/11/2025: Because we had a reservation, a friendly lady sat us down. She brought us a handwritten menu, which apparently changes frequently. We chose a plate of cured meats and cheeses, as well as gnocchi with goulash 'picante' and ravioli with montasio cheese in pear sauce. The dishes were excellent and the house white and red wines went well with them. Despite the full hall, she was quick and professional, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit

22/09/2025: How wonderful! We were looking for a place in Trieste where we could sample the most characteristic Triestine dishes.
We were greeted with a smile by the owner and staff, who were truly attentive to their customers' needs.
We had the opportunity to sample cured meats, artisanal cheeses, local pasta dishes, and desserts (my Gubana with a glass of grappa will remain etched in my memory forever).
I'll be back as soon as possible. Well done Mara.
07/09/2025: Traditional dishes cooked simply yet deliciously. Delicious cjarsons, tasty and balanced frico with polenta, and incredibly tender pork cheeks. Service is prompt, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming—you'll feel right at home.
