29/01/2026: Da Mauro is one of the last bastions of authentic trattorias in Milan. It's always a good experience. Low prices, generous portions, and you eat like at home (but at grandma's). Mauro's friendliness makes everything even better. The gramigna is a must. It's loaded with a very flavorful sausage sauce. I recommend the trio, so you can try a little bit of everything for a fair price of €15. Gramigna aside, I recommend the creamed gnocchi and the cream tortellini. As for the main course, I've always found the pork shank with mashed potatoes to be excellent. If you want a carefree evening, make sure to book (well in advance) and you won't regret it.
