07/05/2024: Finding myself in Milan and having a passion for Asian cuisine, I couldn't help but take a stroll around Via Paolo Sarpi, the Milanese Chinatown.
There really is everything and to be able to try the whole offer, a week wouldn't be enough so it was necessary to make a choice and among the various things I tried the offer of Collo d'Anatra, a place that offers a particular take away .
While queuing I couldn't help but notice that at that moment I was the only Italian, surrounded by those who I imagine were Chinese, which comforted me because if they are there in my opinion it means it's good. I realize that they don't offer things for all palates but my grandmother taught me to eat every part of the animals, so I really appreciate the so-called fifth quarter, which in Rome is a real delicacy on which many iconic dishes of the Roman gastronomic tradition.
Collo d'Anatra offers everything that others would reject from the duck but also from other animals.
In this case, the neck, the legs, the entrails in general, the head, the tongue, the wings, the nerves but the proposal also extends to some parts of the pig, chicken and beef.
In my case I opted only for duck parts, choosing the neck, the haunches, i.e. the stomach and the tongue.
It is not possible to ask for a mix because everything has a price and is weighed individually. Then, in three different packages in perfectly sealed packaging at the time, they delivered to me, together with a mountain of hand gloves and wipes, the 3 chosen things.
The flavor is decidedly spicy but the spiciness reminiscent of the mix known as the 5 spices is also appreciated.
Duck neck, unlike chicken neck, is much meatier and I must say, there is a lot to eat.
The haunches or stomachs are similar to those of a chicken. From time to time I prepare them together with livers, always chicken, but in a sort of white roast. Here they are sliced and grilled I think, spiced with an intense but not exaggerated spicy flavour.
And then we come to the duck tongues, also tasty and spicy like the neck and stomachs but with a different consistency due to the tongue which remains softer.
If you accompany it all with an ice-cold beer, there's nothing for anyone, they go away and it's a beauty.
Absolutely worth trying!!!

05/03/2024: Very weird restaurant... The Chinese customers are keep coughing around.The 小籠包 is not the one we taste in anywhere of Asian. Very bad tatse and worse experience.
17/02/2024: The staff glares at you, terrible service without a tablecloth or placemat, it almost seems like you are bothering them. €13 for 2 saucers (one Cantonese rice and 3 skewers 1 water). I'll make them happy I won't come back again

Pietanze tutte CALDE e bella porzione.
-Gnocchi alla sorrentina:sapore discreto,unica cosa pomodoro un po' rancido;
-Orecchiette al ragù di salsiccia:buono,un po' troppo olio;
-Controfiletto alla griglia:carne buon sapore,media cottura (interno rosato),taglio spesso ma un po' dura;
-Verdure alla griglia:zucchine,melanzane finalmente morbide,un bel ceppo di radicchio rosso.

20/04/2024: We absolutely love this fusion Japanese-Chinese restaurant in Milan and dine here at least once a week😋 It's my daughter's favorite spot—the sushi is always fresh and the stir fried dishes are so good. And on top, the friendly staff and warm ambiance makes us feel right at home.
29/02/2024: Amo Eimi Sushi da anni, soprattutto dal primo "restiling" del Menu, avvenuto qualche anno fa, che ha conferito al ristorante un livello veramente notevole , quanto a qualità,nuovi piatti e presentazione delle portate.
Detto questo, arriviamo al secondo "restiling " avvenuto nell estate scorsa,2023, che ha riguardato tutto, ovvero la location, e tutti i Menù, nonche prezzi.
Ed ecco il punto , si denota sicuramente un grande impegno nella creazione di piatti nuovi,alternativi, e sono davvero tanti, ma in questi casi, alzare l asticella partendo gia da un livello molto alto non è impresa semplice e pone non poche incertezze nei risultati.
E infatti, a mio gusto personale, credo siano andati un filo oltre, ovvero:
Ho riscontrato troppe sovrapposizioni di sapori, salse di vario tipo, complementi simil Philadelphia, e via dicendo,
Molti finger food giap che al momento attirano senz altro, ma che alla lunga allontanano un po il sapore e le fragranze del pesce crudo.
Inoltre c e' un uso soprattutto nelle tartare, ma un po ovunque, di aglio.
E io adoro l aglio, ma in questo contesto andrei cauto.
Prezzi, anche giustamente alzati, ci sta.
Pur tuttavia ...io strizzo non poco l ' occhio...al precedente Eimi.che aveva a parer mio un equilibrio perfetto. Bene! Vedremo in futuro!!
