18/08/2025: Great place for quality/quantity/price ratio away from tourist places. Nice place with a splendid view. Ample parking if people park well. Good service and also the place. It is advisable to book. Be careful with the navigator that if it is set to short route can take you on dirt and bumpy roads.
15/08/2025: This is our fourth or fifth time there, and it's become a must-visit for us every summer! Everything is truly delicious, from appetizers to dessert!

10/08/2025: Giovanna, the owner, is very kind and welcoming. She cares about making a good impression on the guests she hosts at her restaurant. While on vacation for a week, we discovered Pappacena and were very pleased. It's a charming, simple place. The local food is tasty and high-quality. We didn't have a chance to try the meat because we were so overwhelmed by other very good dishes. If you're in the area, it's a restaurant worth visiting.

30/07/2025: The name doesn't justify the unreasonably high prices. Out of four main courses, one (cavatelli with mussels, saffron, and zucchini flowers) was technically incorrect; the saffron was the only ingredient you could taste, and the mussels were only three. The mussel and octopus soup contained two tiny pieces of octopus and very small mussels. The location is beautiful, but it doesn't justify the questionable prices and quality. Paper tablecloths and napkins, no table lighting.

20/07/2025: I had a bad experience with the service. I had booked a table, I asked where the table was and if it was available, but every waiter sent us somewhere else. After a quarter of an hour of asking, one waiter replied, "I CAN'T SPEAK TODAY, I'M LEAVING." After that, we left.
05/07/2025: Siamo andati in questo ristorante per la prima volta ieri sera e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Abbiamo preso una paella, che avevamo prenotato al mattino, buonissima! Ricca di frutti di mare e gamberi freschi, era per due ma avremmo potuto tranquillamente mangiare in 3! Il locale poi è molto carino, uno spazio all'aperto molto ben tenuto, con tante piante piene di fiori. Il personale garbato, prezzi giusti, considerato che ci troviamo in una località turistica

12/08/2025: The quality of the food is very high: the fish is incredibly fresh, the plating is impeccably crafted, and the seasoning is excellent.
The service is adequately quick considering the preparation time.
You can eat outside on the waterfront, which is very nice!
I highly recommend it!
The only downside is the excessive price of the cover charge and water.
07/08/2025: The gentleman at the door was really rude, he greeted us as if he were doing us a favor, and so, just as a favor, we left. He was obviously shocked by the fact that it was so late for dinner (9:45 PM).

10/08/2025: We were there this evening and I must say everything was good especially for celiacs like me, they have a gluten-free menu.
03/08/2025: We went there on the recommendation of a friend who had recently eaten there, but she too was disappointed with the dinner.
The prices are high for what they are, which makes you order more to fill up; the appetizers, first courses, and second courses are flavorless and poorly combined, such as linguine, calamari salad, and mussels with citrus fruits—but what citrus fruits?
The only things that stood out in my opinion were the mussels and cannoli.
I absolutely wouldn't go back!!!

31/08/2024: Una terrazza stupenda sul golfo di policastro.abbiamo mangiato pizze buonissime,non quelle napoletane certo,ma più una bella focaccia con ingredienti ottimi.patatine fritte stra buone e croccanti.lo consiglio a tutti, soprattutto a chi ha bambini per il bello spazio all'aperto.
29/08/2024: Siamo stati a cena il 25/824. Dopo un giro a Scario,decidiamo di fermarci per una pizza. Locale molto spartano ma accogliente,con una bella vista. Camerieri è proletario molto gentile alla mano. Ordinato due pizze,arrivano subito. Buone e sopratutto abbondanti. Conto più che giusto.

11/12/2024: Puede que el tiempo fuera no haya sido el mejor, ¡pero ciertamente estaba dentro!
La comida era excelente, todos los productos locales y magníficamente cocinado. Desde los aperitivos, pasando por la pasta y por el curso de carne todos en nuestro grupo de seis quedaron encantados.
Cabe destacar especialmente su vino local Aglianico / Cabernet Franc, que es excelente.
En general Romeo y su equipo son muy recomendables.
27/09/2024: Mangiato veramente bene e abbondante ad un prezzo medio. Antipasti, primi e dolce. Tutto molto molto buono. Beati coloro che vivono vicino e quindi possono godere di questo ristorante
