12/10/2024: Este lugar pintoresco era precioso para la cena. El único problema fue que no pudimos cenar fuera debido a las condiciones climáticas. Tuvimos un servicio maravilloso y nuestra cena fue deliciosa! Yo sugeriría almorzar allí en lugar de cenar, ya que la vista es espectacular!

18/10/2025: Beautiful hotel with beautiful views, but getting into town or anywhere for that matter, by taxi is outrageously expensive, particularly if one has limited mobility. I'd hoped the shuttle would be the perfect convenience, however it does not drop you in the center but blocks away with a steep staircase to navigate. We thought the dinner in the restaurant was limited in selections and not all that good. The free breakfast buffet was fine. Sorry, but don't know that I can recommend under these circumstances.

24/10/2025: We arrived at the Hotel Continental in Sorrento completely by chance, without a reservation, and received an exceptional welcome. The reception staff deserves a special mention: exceptionally kind, extremely welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Thanks to them, we immediately felt welcome. The hotel is beautiful, the room comfortable, the bed perfect, and we also received an excellent rate. The breakfast was generous and varied, and the entire stay was a wonderful surprise. A big thank you to the entire reception team for their kindness and smiles! 🌟

06/07/2026: This hotel was amazing! Great location, staff and service. The kids loved the pool too! They have elevator access down to the beach where you can rent beach chairs. We did a car transfer when we arrived due to how late our flight was through the hotel which was 100% worth it. Breakfast was plentiful and they cleaned rooms well, provided towels twice a day. I highly recommend staying here, family friendly and just all around a great bang for your buck!

22/06/2026: An Absolutely Flawless Stay in Sorrento – 5/5 Stars I cannot recommend Hotel Continental enough. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Sorrento, look no further. Every single detail of our stay was exceptional, and I would return in a heartbeat. I cannot stress enough how spectacular the morning brunch was. Honestly, calling it a "buffet" simply doesn’t do it justice. You are seated at white linen tables while a live piano player performs, and the staff promptly brings you fresh cappuccinos. The food spread is unbelievable: 15+ breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, 6+ varieties of honey (including fresh honeycomb!), local cheeses, eggs, meats, and 5+ juice options. The options never ceased to amaze me. They even offer coffee to-go, which was a lifesaver when rushing out the door. Seriously, this was the best breakfast I have ever seen in a hotel in my entire life. The staff here is unbelievably accommodating and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to book dinner reservations on our behalf, give us excellent local advice, and help schedule last-minute transfers. They were incredibly flexible with our early check-in and even let us park our rental car for free for a few hours until the local rental agency opened. Housekeeping is next-level. They cleaned the room and provided fresh towels multiple times a day, and even left little chocolates at night along with the next day’s weather forecast. The rooms were super quiet, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. It really felt like a luxurious home base, especially since the room came fully stocked with robes, a hair dryer, a straightener, and a steamer. Step out onto the balcony, and the views are spectacular—you have gorgeous sights of the water and Mount Vesuvius right in front of you. Beyond the stunning views, the location itself is perfect. You are within easy walking distance of all the fun activities, charming shops, and incredible restaurants in Sorrento, yet the hotel remains incredibly peaceful since it sits right outside a scenic, quiet green park. It is also extremely close to the ferries for easy day trips and transfers. As a massive bonus, the hotel has its own private elevator down to the ferries (available during beach club operating hours), which conveniently saves you the hassle and fees of using the public elevator! To top it all off, you are just a few short steps away from one of the best rooftop bars in town (top floor of the hotel!). An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend!
