21/05/2026: We were looking for a place to enjoy a good breakfast, based on the reviews we'd read. Unfortunately, I have to say the experience didn't live up to expectations. We ordered some desserts, including a small babà (€1.50), but the result was rather disappointing. I can't say it was terrible, but honestly, we expected more, especially since the prices are quite high.

20/05/2026: Sunday aperitif with friends. Tasty food, delicious drinks. Simple and simple atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

06/04/2026: Great atmosphere We ordered four drinks, and when the waiter came to the table with the drinks, he didn't know the names of the drinks (one of which was wrong), and he spilled half a drink on the table. We asked for the women's restroom to be cleaned, and he spoke rudely and annoyed. An experience not to be repeated with the same (tall) waiter.

08/08/2026: Beautiful location with a garden. Friendly staff, fast service. We ate quite well, especially the appetizer. Prices were average.

04/08/2026: La Cantina Del Gusto confirms its reputation as a true local deli. The selection of cured meats and cheeses is simply spectacular: carefully selected, ultra-fresh, and superior-quality products. The cured meats have intense aromas and a balanced flavor, while the cheeses are surprising in their variety and character, accompanied by jams and honey that enhance every bite. Attentive service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a grill restaurant that fills the air even from the parking lot. A place you'll want to return to, because here, flavor truly takes center stage.

10/07/2026: The location is clean and even nice, like a chalet, but the staff isn't up to par. A waiter who doesn't know much about drinks comes to take your order. I don't think he can figure out what a gin, lemon, Malta, and a gin fizz are. After about 5 minutes, he shows up with a gin fizz (gin, sparkling water, and sour) that isn't a gin fizz but has tonic water, among other things, an Indian gin lemon malfy with a Schweppes. It must be said that everything was served in tall rocks glasses without a slice of lime or orange, not in a tall glass or a chalice. ALL €25 accompanied by 9 appetizers, are you kidding? Now I understand why there's no one there. Do you also call it a bar? I don't recommend it to anyone!!!!

14/05/2026: The bar isn't large and doesn't have any seating at the counter. But there are armchairs outside where you can relax and chat with friends.

22/07/2026: Good pizza. Welcoming place. The panoramic terrace overlooking Vesuvius and the surrounding villages is spectacular. A very positive experience.

18/07/2026: The location offers a splendid view of Vesuvius, which is certainly the restaurant's strong point. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. The place appears neglected, with the presence of flies and other insects that made lunch unpleasant. The service was below expectations: most of the waiters seemed unprofessional, with the exception of the waiter and the girl taking orders, both of whom were kind and helpful. Regarding the food, the fried food was excessively rubbery, while the pizza was decent, without any particular merits. The prices, however, are fair and in line with the offerings. A positive note goes to the two gentlemen who entertained the guests with music: friendly, talented, and very courteous, they contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant has great potential thanks to the view, but it could use some more upkeep and a significant improvement in service.

08/05/2026: Good evening, it's 9:22 PM. I'm writing this review because I was denied entry at that time after the scheduled closing time is 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM. I asked them to let me buy just a pack of cigarettes and was given a categorical no, complete with a Neapolitan grimace to say, "Go away!"... It seems like the more you try to bring money, the more they don't want you.
