12/10/2025: U'mammami restaurant is a brilliant idea from chef and owner Raffaele. The dining room is small and welcoming, where every detail is designed to evoke the local atmosphere, yet with the taste and refinement of contemporary style. The open kitchen itself is a prelude to the quality of what you'll be eating. The dishes reflect the chef's research and passion. For appetizers, we had Genoese-style tacos and one with out-of-this-world scampi tartare, as well as a sublime tagliolini timbale with rabbit and mushroom ragù. We then opted for a seafood paella, with that savory flavor that makes the sea explode in your mouth. And what about the pre-desserts: the basil ice cream with extra virgin olive oil and Maldon salt is that umami effect that stays etched in your memory. For dessert, we opted for fried pastiera ice cream and chocolate eggplant, which I would describe with one adjective: surprising.
A special mention goes to the waiter and sommelier, who accompanied our dinner with professionalism, refinement, and friendliness, helping us fully enjoy our culinary experience.
To Chef Raffaele and his staff, we can only say thank you. We'll be back soon.

10/05/2025: We always return to where we had a good time, this time too the local flavors never fail. The pizza with raw escarole topped with yellow cherry tomatoes is a delicacy for the palate. The capricciosa is a must, fresh and tasty ingredients. The dish of fried seaweed zeppoline is unmissable. Tonight was good too. Top💯

05/10/2025: We came across this restaurant through social media ads while searching for an intimate restaurant to celebrate our little one's birthday. Right from the start, Attilio, the owner, accommodated our schedule so we could meet and get a quote.
We were delighted to be able to discuss the quote/menu directly with him, as he gave us the right ideas to customize everything to our needs. The party went very well, the food was delicious and enjoyed by us and all our guests. The waitresses were very kind and helpful. We are thrilled to have discovered this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
30/09/2025: On Sunday, September 28th, we celebrated my baby's baptism in the evening and everything was perfect, starting with the atmosphere created by Attilio in his wonderful, romantic garden. ❤️ We had a truly wonderful time. The cuisine and service were impeccable, attentive to all our needs and the dishes were refined and exclusive. As always, Attilio's attention and love for his work never disappoints. 11/08/2025: If you're in the Ottaviano area, at the foot of Vesuvius, you can't miss this dairy: the buffalo mozzarella is simply exceptional, fresh and flavorful as only Campania can be. Perfect for a quick sandwich, a delicious snack, or even more elaborate dishes, it's also a great place to buy top-quality cheeses and cured meats to take home. A great stop on our trip: warm welcome, genuine products, and authentic flavors that reflect the local tradition. Highly recommended!

29/03/2025: After tasting several pizza flavors, I'd give it a poor rating. The only positives are the easily digestible dough, the mediocre quality ingredients, nothing special, and the flavor never quite shines through. The pizzas are always undercooked, giving the impression that they were hastily pulled from the oven, and the oil used for the toppings is nonexistent. The prices (excluding a few basic versions) are exorbitantly high and absolutely don't reflect the quantity and quality of the toppings used, which are always very sparse, sparse, sparse, and meticulously spread out like a pharmacist to give the impression that the pizza crust has been adequately covered. I also had the opportunity to try the croquettes, which were edible but without any filling.
In conclusion, they serve subpar products at out-of-line prices.

09/10/2025: I just left this bar and I don't think I'll ever go back. For weeks I've been trying to get a good coffee like it used to be when the guy with glasses or the girl made it, but to my disappointment, I always find new people, mostly the perhaps unpresentable owner who doesn't even know what it means to make a coffee. He thinks he's doing the job, but I always see him yelling and he's not at all professional.
I could have recommended this place once, but I don't recommend it anymore. In the morning, you go to the bar to stay calm, not to listen to the yelling of people who aren't professional in their work.
08/09/2025: I've been wanting to write this review for a long time.
I often stop by this bar, especially in the morning around 7:00 for breakfast, and I have to say there's a wide selection of croissants, all very good. The coffee is exceptional if made by the guy with the blond glasses, and if you happen to order it with milk, he'll serve it with love, which I have to say is very nice. However, if you happen to be there on a morning when there's another driver, the coffee is often burnt. I advise the owner to always keep the same driver.

26/10/2025: Last night, I went with my family to Pizzeria VIRO' in Ottaviano (Naples), and I have to say it was a fantastic experience!
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the super friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for an evening with friends.
We ordered a bit of everything to sample their specialties:
A panini, truly tasty and well-filled, with fresh, quality ingredients.
A cartwheel pizza, enormous and spectacular, with a light, crispy crust and a rich, flavorful topping.
A regular pizza, equally delicious, with a soft crust and sweet, fragrant tomato sauce. Everything was prepared with care and passion; you could taste the love in every bite. The prices are fair and in line with the quality of the products offered. Compliments also go to the owner, Rossella, who is very kind and friendly. That said, I highly recommend everyone to try Pizzeria VIRO'! We will definitely be back soon. 😉👍🏼

We came to VIRO’ on the recommendation of some friends, and they were absolutely right.
The place is welcoming and spotlessly clean, with friendly and helpful staff.
The pizza is exceptional: soft, light, and cooked in a wood-fired oven—something that's hard to find these days—just like the most renowned pizzerias in Naples.
The sandwiches are also truly worth it: quality ingredients and rich flavor.
A place where you can taste the passion for what they do. We'll definitely be back!

07/08/2025: It's truly a temple of meat. There's little more to say. The quality is top-notch and it shows. The products are exceptional. The meat is fantastic. I'm a regular customer and have tried more than one sandwich...they're all fantastic. The wait sometimes seems interminable, but it's always worth it. The fried food is also highly recommended, especially the pistachio and mortadella frittata and the meatballs with fondue...exceptional.
09/07/2025: the best rib-eye steak (T-bone) I have ever eaten, aged for 120 days, perfectly cooked and melting in the mouth, the experience was expensive, almost 100 euros per kg, but absolutely worth it.

We waited 50 minutes between orders, only to be rushed when the kitchen closed.
I won't be returning.
I strongly advise against it.
