21/05/2024: The place is nice, even if very small, and full of bottles (a real cellar!). To be able to dine at Officina del Gusto we had to book many days in advance, because the place cannot accommodate many diners. But this was not a problem for us. It had been recommended to us as an excellent restaurant and we wanted to experience it first hand. Overall, the food isn't bad, even if the value for money is a bit high. The gluten-free option is also guaranteed, even if pasta was not offered to us. The weak point, based on the only experience lived in this restaurant, is, in our very modest opinion, the service: the people who serve the tables seem unprofessional, distracted, not very present and not very attentive. The owner evidently tries to make up for these shortcomings by personally committing himself, but often he too is a bit sloppy.

29/05/2024: Promoted to full capacity, this self-service restaurant appears crowded, but you don't have time to raise any doubts about staying for a quick lunch as the queue moves quickly thanks to the diligence of the staff, who are numerically adequate as well as quick. Wide choice of meat and fish, first courses, second courses and side dishes, honest prices and high quality, beyond expectations. Really excellent environment, clean, with well-spaced tables and you never have the feeling of being crowded.

18/05/2024: I often travel for work and I have never found a place like this for my lunch break. Fast, great food and fair prices. Always very kind staff. Highly recommended (included in bergamot babà)

21/05/2024: No set menu , as it changes every day. No prices shown, staff speaks VERY or no English. We had ragu pasta it was amazing and porcini pasta which was OK, but needed a bit of salt. Pasta was 10 euro each, so not expensive. In general it was great !

19/05/2024: Zero professionalism: we make a reservation 15 days in advance and find the place CLOSED, rude and rude in their responses. Their justification: they didn't read the time on the reservation... but learn to work or close! Never again, not recommended, it's not really their thing to manage a place. Don't go there or you will ruin your evening.

07/02/2024: I ate takeaway pizza there in the restaurant, I must say that of all the pizzerias I've been to this one is the best to date. The base of the pizza was light and crunchy despite the ingredients on top, the dough was well cooked and with alveoli of the crumb beautiful open. The raw materials used for the toppings were evidently selected, well positioned and above all genuine, it was possible to taste all the flavors without the problem of the matching mix. After eating two slices, unlike other pizzerias, I didn't feel bloated which is to say. Very kind, very nice staff and despite the awareness of the excellent product they remained humble. 4 stars for the place for intellectual honesty because it is actually a bit too small, but we know that where there is take-away usually just the essentials are offered for those who consume in a hurry. If you go to Reggio Calabria I highly recommend stopping by and tasting a truly special pizza. Well done!!!!

03/02/2024: Pizzeria mainly for take-away, but with a few tables against the walls where you can sit huddled together to eat a slice of scrocchiarella with various toppings. The dough is excellent, fragrant, light, crunchy and can also be made with cereals. As for the condiments, you're spoiled for choice and there are endless varieties at the counter. The place is small and you can understand the reasons why, especially on Saturday evenings, it is incredibly crowded, while the two ladies who serve never lose their calm and provide for the customers. The slices generally cost 2.50, but there are other more delicious ones for 3 euros. With 10 euros you can eat three nice slices and drink a drink: also for this reason, recommended.
