11/09/2025: Terrible service, slow and poorly managed. It's unthinkable for someone to arrive at 8:00 PM to eat and be served at 9:00 PM when there weren't even that many people. Plus, half the items on the menu weren't available. When we were supposed to order and were ready, the waitress made us wait because she still had to set all the tables (setting means simply putting out a paper placemat). So she made us wait just to take our order. Then I chose meat and had to go inside to choose it from the counter. Too bad the butcher was serving customers and made me wait. When he could have taken 30 seconds to ask me what I wanted and cut the steak, that's enough. Plus, I had to remind him of my table number, otherwise he wouldn't have even gotten it. Then when the side dishes arrived (served as appetizers, I don't know why), we still hadn't received water or wine. And only after asking the waitress for water did it arrive, and very slowly did the wine arrive. Overall, the food was good, but not spectacular. It's a shame that the selection seemed extensive, but once we arrived, it was very limited. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Terrible service. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to close the butcher shop when you want to serve food and just run the restaurant, with faster and better waiters.

20/08/2025: The food was very good, but one thing I didn't like at all was that they didn't give us the prices for what we ordered, and when it came to the bill, we ended up paying a lot. It's true that everything is fresh fish, but from reliable sources, the prices of the fish are different to those of the locals, so I felt a bit cheated, as they charge us tourists different prices... considering we've been coming here for years and know the place well.

25/08/2025: There are a few outdoor tables for dining in, but despite the fair and the holiday, we managed to find a seat. The pizzas and arancini were truly excellent. We chose the place for the gluten-free pizza, which was truly delicious.

16/10/2025: We spontaneously stopped by this afternoon after a hike and had a super delicious vegetarian appetizer with delicious bread. Absolutely fantastic! We've never had anything like it before! My daughter had spaghetti with tomato sauce and was also completely blown away. If we ever come back, we'll definitely go there!

22/09/2025: I've known this place since I was a child, and it's barely been heard of over the years. A historic establishment, located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Extremely friendly staff, excellent cuisine, very prompt waiters, and impeccable service.

21/08/2025: Excellent cook, amazingly well received, but the portions are decidedly small for the price...7 euros for a caponata with 3 slices of onion and 2 tomatoes is definitely excessive, but where there's taste there's no loss.

07/04/2025: Advertising is like lies, they have short legs... I have to say that I was very disappointed with everything, quality and price. I paid €20 for a house appetizer, but it wasn't even worth €5 in quality and proportion. All recycled stuff, reheated on the spot, and of terrible taste. Not to mention the super salty and raw bread made with pizza dough, so I'll leave you to imagine what the pizza was like. The only thing that was criticized was the name of the dish. If I can give you some advice, change jobs... restaurateurs are born, you can't just invent them on the spot.

30/08/2025: We sat down in the square in August at 8:45 PM, 11 of us. Orders were taken piecemeal and served haphazardly: first food without drinks, then half-finished drinks, and finally—when everyone had already finished—our celiac friend's gluten-free pizza, which he ate alone. Bread never arrived, drinks forgotten, pizzas from those who hadn't eaten never seen, despite numerous promises of preferential passage of our order (perhaps for the next day). The menu stated that a platter was "minimum for two people" at €32, but the staff's explanation was a puzzle: when we said there were eight of us, we were told that four platters was not enough; when we ordered five, we discovered that the platters were actually charged "per person" and not "per couple." In fact, the "platter for eight" had five pieces of each, so three people were left to watch. The menu was poorly written, and the order management was even worse. One of us, after being told several times that the pizza we'd chosen from the menu wasn't available, had to impatiently ask them to decide which pizza was available. The service was surreal: a single waiter (presumably the owner) would take the orders, leave them unfinished, and disappear for long minutes, while the others watched. When we complained, the owner never admitted a mistake: he told us that "you must have misunderstood, or I misunderstood," and urged us to stay calm "because I even gave you a front-row table to watch the concert," all with a joke that was more than out of place. Final justification? "It's chaotic in August, and it's a special night." With the square full but only 50 people in the dining room, it's pure incompetence; the chaos wasn't in his restaurant: if you don't know how to manage, you reduce the seating. In the end, we paid €20 each, including those who didn't eat. Disorganized, slow, arrogant, and even ironic about complaints: a disaster to be avoided!

14/08/2025: We ordered two pizzas, a Margherita and a Diavola with 'nduja, and were pleasantly surprised by their melt-in-your-mouth crust! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, and we even met the pizza chef and congratulated him in person. This will definitely be our go-to pizzeria for our next trips to Palmi! 03/09/2025: I just had the most disappointing dining experience of my life at this sushi "restaurant." Despite the unappealing appearance, I was willing to look beyond, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations. The sushi I tried was, in my opinion, the worst I've ever tasted. I'm convinced that anyone who praises it as the best has never had the fortune of tasting real sushi; otherwise, they would never call it that. A real disappointment!

29/08/2025: This small but very cute and well-maintained sushi restaurant is welcoming and the staff are truly friendly, polite, and helpful. The selection of some dishes isn't extensive, but the quality is very good. The rice portions in the rolls are a bit generous, so you'll feel full quickly (I recommend not ordering too much at once 😊), but the fish is fresh and well-prepared. If we ever return to Calabria and are craving sushi, we'll definitely stop by again!

04/09/2025: The place is located in a fairytale natural setting, practically attached to the picturesque olive tree rock, and this is the main feature. It's a shame, however, that the spaces of the structure are very retro and poorly maintained, as are the rooms. Overall, we were welcomed well, although perhaps given the tiredness of the end of the season, we had an adequate approach. My advice is not a criticism. It would take very little to improve and enrich the structure and offer more modern comforts in step with the times, given the current cost line.

19/08/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant, mostly seafood-based. I'd particularly like to mention the struncatura with local tuna, a generous portion and exceptional quality—a must-try! The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the pizza was excellent! The unparalleled view of the Scoglio dell'Ulivo and the sound of the waves provide a splendid backdrop. Recommended.

05/07/2025: We booked, but once we got there there were no chairs or a table available. After about 20 minutes of standing, a girl from the staff told us that they had to take the table because they couldn't handle the situation due to lack of staff. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. If you can't guarantee service, you shouldn't accept reservations.

29/06/2025: Disappointing experience. I called to order three pizzas and when I placed the order I asked if I could change the flavors of the pizzas. The answer was a firm 'no' and when I tried to explain my request the person on the phone hung up on me. The customer service was non-existent and the attitude was rude and unprofessional.

29/08/2025: I could call it a singles pizzeria, in the sense that the wait time is already infinite. They only serve a maximum of three pizzas per batch... but I'll never understand (I wanted to give it a second chance, but unfortunately the same thing happened) why out of three pizzas that come out, one is brought out randomly to each table... basically, a table of six people gets a pizza every 10 minutes or so... a rule that also applies to other tables. That is, a table of six will never eat everything at the same time... and if you ask, there's always a problem. Which is not good in a restaurant setting. I don't understand the point of having one pizza per table. Orders are made in order with all the pizzas at that table. The pizza is certainly good, but the pizza chef and the service need to coordinate and perhaps manage the orders better.

18/08/2025: We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for pizzas that never arrived. Meanwhile, the waitress offered us an appetizer to pass the time (which arrived after 30 minutes), which was also late. After asking for updates on the pizzas, we were told they were being prepared, but nothing ever arrived. At that point, we headed to the cashier to pay, and incredibly, the staff wanted to charge us for the pizzas that were never served. Unacceptable behavior, both in terms of the management of the service and the lack of respect towards customers. We won't be returning.
