17/09/2024: Come si puó pensare di gestire un locale in questa maniera in una zona così bella della Calabria? Cominciando dalla maleducazione del personale che non riesce neanche a rispondere al buongiorno per non parlare delle granite con pezzi interi di ghiaccio tipo cocktail! E finendo ai prezzi non proprio modici! Ma perfavore se non siete capaci o non ne avete voglia...cambiate mestiere.

18/08/2024: Dopo una bella serata trascorsa a Le Castella abbiamo deciso di prenderci un gelato, la persona addetta al banco dei gelati era davvero scortese, direi quasi scocciato ...abbiamo chiesto e pagato 4 coni ma come ha messo il gelato nel primo cono gocciolava da tutte le parti e in modo frettoloso e sbrigativo lo ha travisato in una coppetta, da lì sempre scocciato ha fatto tutte coppette e non vi dico questo gelato in che condizioni era! In un attimo avevamo le mani, le braccia ed i vestiti pieni di questo liquido che doveva essere un gelato! Dopo 1 minuto e dopo aver sporcato la maglia e i pantaloni di gelato sciolto mi sono diretta dal signore per far notare la cosa e lui, sempre più scocciato, mi ha detto che era colpa del vento! Non è mia abitudine tollerare la scortesia e soprattutto le prese in giro! Noi eravamo andati per 4 coni ma lui dal suo banco frigo non è riuscito a farne neanche uno perché si scioglieva all'istante, altro che vento! Abbiamo speso 12 euro senza poter mangiare nessun gelato perché lo abbiamo buttato per non rischiare di stare male. So bene che i frigoriferi si possono rompere ma in questi casi il gelato non deve essere dato ai clienti . Ci tengo a precisare che una ragazza dello staff mi ha proposto di avere un altro gelato ma l'atteggiamento arrogante del signore e soprattutto la qualità del prodotto non mi ha fatto accettare, inoltre alcuni ragazzi del posto mi hanno detto che purtroppo questi incidenti con il gelato ahimè si ripetono spesso .

26/08/2024: Serata informale … pizza buona, servizio così, così. Ho assaggiato la pizza calabrese e mi è piaciuta molto. La birra una era fredda l’altra era temperatura ambiente , la risposta è stata” stava in frigo” , ragion di forza ho chiesto del ghiaccio …

02/07/2024: Dietro consiglio di un commerciante locale siamo finiti a cenare in questa locanda. Ottimo consiglio in effetti, posto molto pulito e la loro educazione e cordialità ti conquistano e mettono a proprio agio. Il cuoco ci ha proposto le specialità ed è stato un viaggio dei sensi e gusti. Assolutamente consigliato

13/11/2024: Qualità non proprio proporzionata ai prezzi, ma non vuol dire che si mangia male. Credo ci voglia solo un po’ più attenzione nella cucina. I vini credo che vengano conservati male in luogo caldo.

16/08/2024: The Maida lido Casarossa, 15 agosto 2024: Sono stato al bar con la famiglia per un aperitivo. Ho chiesto al barista/ cassiere una Fanta, due bottigliette d'acqua, una busta di patatine e due caffè freddi. Una volta pagato il conto ho chiesto al ragazzo della cassa la gentilezza di fornirmi un bicchiere con un po di ghiaccio per sorseggiare la Fanta, ma la sua risposta e stata a dir poco "agghiacciante": “mi dispiace ma il ghiaccio e’ quasi terminato” Ho risposto: “cosa vuol dire e’ quasi terminato?O ce l’hai o non ce l’hai il ghiaccio e poi con questo messaggio cosa vuoi trasmettere? Che a me il ghiaccio non lo vuoi dare?” Gli altri due ragazzi che erano dietro al bancone sono rimasti impassibili, nessuno dei due e' intervenuto in mio supporto fornendomi del ghiaccio. Sono rammaricato perche’ una struttura simile si e’ persa in un bicchiere d'acqua o meglio si e' persa in un bicchiere di Fanta. Disastro a Lido Casarossa. Bocciati.

13/07/2025: Locale molto carino, pizza super buona e molto appetitosa. Il personale è molto gentile e accogliente. Ci ritorneremo!

02/07/2025: Siamo stati bene ed speso il giusto, cercavamo un po di rosticceria calabrese e l'abbiamo trovata lì, insieme alla cortesia.

06/09/2024: Absolutely not!! I booked 3 camper pitches for August with a deposit due, upon arrival we did not find a campsite, the pitches were a car park under the sun, access not possible due to the presence of low plants that would have damaged the camper, in the end we had to leave, unable to enter and the owner with absolute rudeness denied us the refund of the deposit.

05/09/2024: ABSOLUTELY NOT! We arrived at our destination thanks to the map but outside the campsite there is no indication, name or reference. I called and the owner tried to tell me where to enter but I couldn't understand since he didn't tell me that there is no table with the name of the campsite. The house number on the map does not correspond to the entrance but to their offices (I was answered later...) I called back a second time after I continued to drive around with the camper in the crazy heat of this August 2024 and the clearly annoyed owner replied with a huff that he was coming to open the gate for us. The entrance was at least as uncomfortable as the exit. He tells me to reach the "pitch" through a narrow avenue full of low trees that I struggled to navigate, risking several times damaging the attic and the air conditioner on the roof. Having arrived in an undefined space we are told, again rudely, to park so as not to exceed the so-called "pitch" limits We were two campers and two more would arrive today. The owner shows us two spaces (I can't even barely define them as pitches) with a single column running 40 meters away😱😱😱 Meanwhile branches of lush trees prevent us from settling down. The owner invites us to go elsewhere because he doesn't need us or even the sign outside. He claims that on the phone they would have accepted our reservation as a courtesy but he didn't want to do it😱😱😱 "So excuse me, I'm going on holiday to Calabria at the risk of breaking the camper, not having the possibility of electricity (electricity columns must not exceed 25 meters according to the law), paying the deposit and I have to be told that you did me a favor because on the phone you were asked and begged to accept us?" "Yes ma'am you begged me and I did you a favor" " Excuse me but do you think you're the only campsite? We just left for the holidays, we have others to go around, why should I have asked for this charity from God?" And he continued to ask us to leave, maintaining an annoyed and impatient tone. In the meantime we lost our patience because my husband was trying to find a way to position the camper without breaking it but unfortunately it was impossible so much so that he proposed to us please (still huffing) to cut the branches or give us back the deposit and leave. Obviously we decided to leave and I won't tell you the exit maneuvers and the impassable avenue. The owner first goes away to get the cash, then comes out and says he would make the transfer the same day and send us an accountant. We decide to leave without waiting any longer due to the rude and arrogant way in which we were treated and because we were about to become rude too. After a week I called several times to find out about the transfer. Strangely, I had no answer from my number, then I changed my cell phone and they answered me. And the owner tells me, still in that haughty and annoyed tone, that he had no intention of talking to me and hangs up in my face. To date, after almost a month (it was August 11th) no transfer has been made to us. 160 euros doesn't change your life but those who work honestly and earn a living and go on holiday once a year cannot be treated this way. And I want to underline that we didn't beg for anything, we called and booked three campers and then called back to add a fourth camper and we were told that it was a maybe and we needed to see at the moment. In fact we accepted with the unknown of the fourth camper. But then when we got there the reality was depressing: there are no camper pitches but only houses and tents, and nothing is up to standard, neither the spaces nor the electricity service. Not to mention the shocking ways in which we were treated. I thought I was joking aside😱🤦🏽‍ I'm sorry for writing this review but civility and education are the basis of everything and I have the duty to tell this bad experience.

26/12/2024: Ok voto massimo non è solo per ciò che abbiamo mangiato che era tutto davvero buono e genuino. Ma per la loro gentilezza, presenza e disponibilità in uno dei giorni. Clou dell'anno, ovvero il pranzo di Natale. Le sale poi sono davvero belle, nuove di zecca, curate e pulite. Infine, rapporto qualità prezzo (per la quantità e le qualitá del cibo mangiato) davvero eccelso. Bravi davvero, e grazie dell'accoglienza

03/09/2024: Ho piacevolmente scoperto questo locale in vacanza la settimana scorsa, pochi tavoli e un po' di attesa ma ne vale la pena! Il cibo ottimo, affettato, formaggi, polpette, crocchette, pipi e patati,nduja..tutta la cucina calabrese in un unico posto. È possibile fare aperitivo con i taglieri di diverse dimensioni e composizioni, ma anche cenare con panini e altre prelibatezze..il locale presenta anche un punto vendita di prodotti tipici. Ci tornerò sicuramente, mi sono sentita a casa!
