04/10/2025: Spent the night here with our camper (only for self-drive vehicles - no services). In the countryside, beautiful. Delicious food prepared with our own produce, a delight! Very warm welcome. Highly recommended!
21/09/2025: First time in Calabria and they made it feel like home with a warm welcome and comfortable rooms. The food was wonderful and plentiful. I even thought of stopping at anti pasta. Mad Ron site from local ingredients from their fields it was beautiful.

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.
19/08/2025: What a great find!! Nothing to complain about, the fish was really good. Large portions and lots of fish. It's a shame about the location and the wait for a table.

03/09/2025: The beach isn't too big... We visited in September, choosing it for its exotic location, with its palm trees and wooden structure. We rented an umbrella and two sun loungers for €10 for the whole day. The sea is right in front of the beach, enclosed between two C-shaped cliffs, one on the right and one on the left. A little corner of paradise.
03/09/2025: The best on the Cosenza coast, I'm confirming it again this year (2025). A family atmosphere but barracks-style efficiency, the staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to welcome and please everyone. Even those who don't have a spot on the beach are treated like royalty. I highly recommend trying the fritto misto, as indescribable as the view. The same in 2023.
2024 will be even better, congratulations to the organization.

Here, you're not just a customer: you're welcomed with genuine warmth. Chef Emilio is a master of seafood: each dish is a symphony of freshness and expertly balanced flavors. The seafood specialties are varied and always surprising; it's clear that each recipe is born of experience, passion, and respect for the ingredients. The fine wines selected further enhance the dishes, and the pizzas—yes, even the pizzas—are prepared with care and flavor. And the homemade desserts? A perfect conclusion that will remain in your heart. Everything was excellent, from the location, to the service, to the bathrooms (spotlessly clean), to the food, which was truly exquisite!
The traditional flavors, almost all locally sourced, enhanced by superb cuisine.
18/09/2025: The "U Principe" risotto is delicious, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and the homemade desserts are a true delight.

17/09/2025: Nice place. Stop. We ordered three pizzas, but aside from the dough, which was like chewing gum... I'd like to ask, "Do they give you free oil?" Oil in abundance, like a swimming pool. One pizza had so much 'nduja that it overflowed the plate, making the flavor very heavy. €3 for a 33cl can of Coke is a steal. We're not even close.
06/09/2025: We ate there three years ago. And we weren't disappointed. Delicious.
One criticism is that you have to use your smartphone to access the menu.

05/10/2025: Atmosphere is nice. We ordered the starter (cheese with mushrooms), primo plate (risotto with Gorgonzola) and side dish (aubergine balls on a stick). We asked to eat this all together at the same time. We got our food in this order , aubergine first, waited 10 minutes got the risotto and 15 minutes later the cheese. The aubergine balls and the cheese with mushrooms were nice, the risotto was way too salty and not cooked properly.
03/10/2025: We were looking for a warm place on a cold evening. Our train was canceled after a very long journey, and we were sad. The atmosphere of this place, the service, and the food completely changed our mood! I wish we could have stayed longer 😊 We'll definitely be back!

20/08/2025: It's a bakery, but they also offer a bar and breakfast service. They have a wide variety of products, from the classic "mpiulato" (a traditional pastry made with bread) of Paola, to various biscuits, pizzas, rustic cakes, focaccias, and various types of bread, as well as small pastries. The brioches are generally good, and the prices are in line with the area. The real problem here are the girls behind the counter, who are truly rude and unprofessional: they make inappropriate jokes about customers, and they're always unsympathetic—it's truly indecent. Let's just say that if they didn't sell good food, no one would go there!
Easy free parking nearby, practically in the city center.

21/09/2025: Extremely rude service, I think one of the rudest services I've ever experienced. The few times I've ordered from Master Pizza, the pizza has arrived at least half an hour late. I also asked for a Red Bull and specified IF THEY HAD ANY, and the lady who answered the phone said, "HEY? Look, we'll give you a free drink." Not even "Sorry, we don't have any." I don't think I'll ever order from here again, just because of the acidity they left in me.
22/06/2025: I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this pizzeria. I had clearly specified that I wanted an undercooked pizza, but it arrived with a burnt edge and a disgusting appearance, more reminiscent of vomit than an appetizing dish. The quality of the ingredients leaves much to be desired and the presentation is simply unacceptable. After calling to complain, I pointed out that the pizza was burnt, but I was arrogantly told that it was impossible, even though it can be clearly seen in the photos. Furthermore, the staff simply pointed out that the pizza cost €11, while on the receipt it was €11.50, as if that justified everything. Treating a customer this way is unacceptable!!

26/08/2025: An experience so surreal it seemed like a comedy sketch... if it hadn't been real. We were kicked out of the tavern for no clear reason, with anything but courteous manners. The welcome? Nonexistent. The politeness? Lost among the daily specials.
In an era when restaurants should focus entirely on hospitality and quality service, here they have confidently chosen the opposite path.
If you're looking for good food accompanied by a human and civilized atmosphere, look elsewhere. Here, they serve (perhaps) warm dishes, but decidedly cold hearts.
09/08/2025: Dishes are prepared based on market-sourced fish. Some dishes can be customized. Meatballs, fried anchovies, and mussels are highly recommended.

28/06/2025: Cercavamo un posto dove cenare presto (verso le 18 : 00 ) , ma la maggior parte dei ristoranti apriva dopo le 20 : 30 . Eravamo en 9 a trovare Paola, affamati dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio. I padroni di casa, Luigino e Maria Rosario, sono stati gentilissimi: ci hanno preparato un tavolo per tutti e insieme ci hanno sfamato per più di tre ore. Il cibo era delizioso, anche per gli standard italiani, e includeva insalate, mozzarella locale, melanzane, pasta, e persino due orate al forno. Difficile immaginare un'esperienza culinaria calabrese migliore e più autentica. Non perdetevi questo posto.
Estábamos buscando un lugar para cenar temprano (alrededor de las 6 pm) , pero la mayoría de los lugares comenzaron a servir después de las 830 . Éramos 9 de nosotros visitando Paola, con hambre después de un largo día de viaje. Los anfitriones Luigino y María Rosario fueron tan amables - - él puso una mesa para todos nosotros y juntos nos dieron de comer durante más de tres horas. La comida era deliciosa, incluso para los estándares italianos, e incluía ensaladas, Mozzarella local, berenjenas, pastas, e incluso dos besugos asados. Es difícil imaginar una experiencia gastronómica calabresa mejor y más auténtica. No te pierdas este lugar, y no te olvides de la aplicación Google Translate en tu teléfono. Una vez que llegas tan al sur en Italia (y deberías) , hay muy poco inglés hablado.
