02/12/2025: Highly recommended! At Restaurant Pizzeria Prima o Poi, all the fish dishes were not only freshly prepared but also made with top-quality, premium ingredients. Every bite was reminiscent of a walk by the sea – full of flavor, freshness, and harmony. The preparation was impeccable, the flavors perfectly balanced. You can feel the passion and love for the ingredients that goes into the cooking. A culinary experience you absolutely must try! However: I was disappointed to find more drinks on the bill than we actually ordered. To all guests: Please check your bill carefully – we were charged €20 extra for drinks. And unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident; I know of three other restaurants where the same thing happened.

31/08/2025: La Fiamma…and indeed, we were burned! I came to this restaurant with my family for a meat-based dinner, but we encountered several issues...we decided to start with the "La Fiamma" appetizer and the Black Angus rump. Nothing to complain about the rump, a good and appropriate portion, but the La Fiamma appetizer, in proportion to what was served, was expensive: €20 for a slice of various cured meats, a few pieces of cheese, two meatballs, and some vegetables. We might be criticized for splitting it, but the price was too high even for one person. We moved on to the burgers, "served with burger buns," as stated on the menu. Instead, we were served burgers on a plate, and when we asked for the bun (which was supposed to be included), we were told, in an annoyed tone, "We don't make sandwiches," only to discover they were sold out. I'm surprised that a grill restaurant that also makes burgers and lists buns on the menu as included isn't able to serve them. Furthermore, the burgers had an excessive grilled aftertaste, which prevented us from fully enjoying the ingredients. The €10 price tag for just a 150g (roughly) burger seasoned with oil and salt seemed excessive, considering that—despite being made from Chianina and Black Angus—the burger was served on a plate, without a bun or sides, which had to be ordered separately. In short, the meat was good, but the prices were excessive for the portions, and the burgers needed reconsidering. ANSWER: First of all, there were five of us, not six, and the bill was about €145. The two appetizers we ordered were therefore split between three (the children didn't eat any), so I'm not the one who's lying. In my review, I did, however, appreciate the Black Angus rump appetizer, which I was referring to when I said the meat was good, since I'm often accused of not having tried it. The burger is included on the menu as a regular item, and isn't advertised as an "alternative for children," as you're now claiming. It seems absurd to me that those who choose to eat a burger at a grill are almost considered second-class customers compared to those who order a sliced ​​steak or a meat dish. In fact, precisely because the restaurant specializes in meat, a customer can even choose to order a burger to get a higher quality one than those at any chain or sandwich shop, without having to justify themselves! Yet, when it came time to order, it seemed like they were trying to convince us not to order them.

24/08/2025: The "la fiamma" platter as an appetizer is recommended. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, offering a taste of typical Calabrian products, but the presentation could have been improved: a single slice on the peel isn't enough to create an appealing taste and visual impression. Unfortunately, the portion of ribs was minimal, especially considering the price. However, the staff was attentive and friendly, which was a strong point of my experience.

02/10/2025: The Angus Bistecca alla Fiorentina was delicious! Unfortunately, it was served cold. Even after reheating, it wasn't much warmer, but it was more cooked through. The problem was that it was sliced, which would have been good, but served on a cold slate slab. It was served with grilled vegetables, which were also cold. At least they didn't charge for this after we complained. The food could be excellent if the chef worked properly.

27/08/2025: We're on vacation in Sellia Marina. Excellent food (we opted for pizza), welcoming place (very well-kept), and kind and attentive staff. The owner is a great hostess. The price is fair. We'll be back this evening for the meat.
